The place looked nice inside. We were the only table but it was TERRIBLE service! Little children were serving us. She was accommodating and super friendly with the kids, but very unprofessional. They were smoking outside when we wanted the bill. Food wasn’t worth it. We only came here because everything was closed for the ferragosto.

RESPONSE TO OWNER: Did not hit my kid but she move his firmly as he was grabbing another glass. We did apologize and the 5euro roasted pepper side dish which wasn’t even half a pepper more than covered that glass. Also, we brought stroller and two diaper bags (we are travelling with small children so I do need this). Also, you took our order and never came back to the table, had you did you would have seen that I only had the aperol and barely touched the wine. This looked like the kind of place we search for, off the tourist trail, basic place but a menu that looked like they cared about the food at a reasonable price. However the menu board displayed was irrelevant, not an issue in itself. But the waitress had a pad with what was available so no time to peruse. Ended up with olives and anchovies to start. OK but we had to ask for bread.

We asked for a carafe of red wine but were told there were no carafes. We later noticed one on a nearby vacated table and as we left one was being delivered to another table.

What a lovely lucky find this place was! It’s a bit hidden and it’s no frills nor thrills, but the food is traditional Sicilian and absolutely beautiful 🤩 Here you are greeted by the chef, there’s no menu and she will tell you what she has for primi and secondi piatti. Also a simple choice of vino which is red or white and comes in a litre carafe 😊 The dishes are simple but beautiful and decent portions! At the end we were stunned by the price, including cover the meal came to 60€ for the four! Absolutely amazing and so affordable ☺️ Hopefully it will remain the affordable tasty place it is, for sure we can fully recommend it...
