Sono venuta alla Tavernaccia sotto consiglio della proprietaria della struttura dove ho soggiornato e devo dire che tutto sommato mi sono trovata bene. Il locale è molto semplice ma è arricchito da splendidi piatti colorati appesi alle pareti (che poi sono gli stessi usati per il servizio). Ho preso un antipasto misto dove erano presenti degli assaggi di panelle, cazzilli, ventricina, caponata, oltre a delle olive, del formaggio con peperoncino (buonissimo), una polpettina e delle alici ( + un’altra pietanza non meglio identificata ma penso che si trattasse di interiora, che però non ho assaggiato). A seguire ho preso una norma che era buona e con abbondante formaggio; mentre la frittura, pur essendo calda e croccante, non mi ha convinta con tutti quei gamberi così piccoli che erano praticamente impossibili da pulire. Non ho preso dolci quindi non posso dire niente a riguardo. Tirando le somme devo dire che le porzioni sono abbondanti e il cibo è buono, ma il servizio è totalmente da rivedere: nonostante fossi arrivata a ristorante praticamente vuoto sono stata servita quasi per ultima perché prima sono stati serviti tutti i clienti abituali che conoscevano il proprietario; inoltre, non ho capito perché soltanto il proprietario poteva prendere gli ordini e controllare i green pass mentre gli altri due camerieri stavano con le mani in mano o al massimo portavano l’acqua ai tavoli. Il conto finale è stato un po’ caro considerando il rapporto qualità/prezzo e i prezzi che si trovano solitamente a Palermo. Non so se...

Seduced by multiple recommendations, we came here for a lunch on Monday. The boss, Mario, was pretending we didn't exist, it took almost 40 minutes to take our order... He was very kind with locals though, so I guess he's usually a nice guy, just not very fond of tourists. Although, money don't smell, so get over it.

Lentil soup is just salty lentils with nothing else, and pasta primavera is drowned in oil. No goodbye at the end, as if there was a wall between us.
