Choice - Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Parma

Such a shame - our group of 5 visited Choice on a recent trip to Parma. Our group of was respectful and had nice conversations with the bar man, and we tipped well. We returned the following night and were refused entry. A group of women, left standing outside in the cold, while many open bar seats were available. Other locals were permitted to enter. The owner refuses to speak or make eye contact, and sends the other bar man to inform us that they have “rules” about groups (we were the same group size as the night before). These “rules” are not posted anywhere visible inside or outside the bar. I may not be a native Italian speaker, but hospitality is a universal language and concept. This place is sorely lacking in the most basic hospitality- and it’s owner seems to delight in exercising these supposed “rules” to a group of foreigners. If they want to copy a speak EZ and be upscale , better they go to Aspen, Park City, NYC and copy and learn from it…including customer service. Con lui il buon umore è assicurato! Perché sarai sempre sicura di bere il cocktail che fa per te, accompagnato da un sorriso e chiacchiere piacevoli. Francesco nella sua giovinezza esprime la voglia di conoscere e creare. Vedi la sua attenzione nella precisione dei movimenti e nella gentilezza dei modi. Non è semplice trovare chi riesca a costruire una tale professionalità da così giovane! Io lo ammiro e lo ringrazio per avermi fatto scoprire il mio cocktail preferito. Mattia è la dedizione verso ciò che ami fatta a persona. Fin da subito ti rendi conto della sua ricerca e della sua passione per ogni minimo dettaglio. Tutto ciò si esprime nella bellezza del locale e nella cura dell’ambiente, ma anche nell’esperienza unica che riesce a regalarti nel passare una serata in sua compagnia.
