Brau Stube — Restaurant in Pavia

This place was the best surprise of our trip. We made a walk for a quick drink before dinner and we found by accident Brau Stube. Since we both love beer we decided to get a beer. The variety of beers is really really good and the people know how to serve a Beer with all the necessary details such us the proper official glass and the exact amount of foam in the glass. The next point that totally surprised us was the food. We were not so sure about the quality so we got 2 simple starters but the taste and the presentation were familiar to a good restaurant. The next day we went again to Brau Stube for different kind of Beer and more "complex" side dishes. Once again we couldn't believe the taste!!!!!!!! Definitely Recommended and we are anticipating for the next visit in the upcoming...

Beer was good but that is easy, food unfortunately not so. We took a cheese platter but the jams in it weren’t fresh at all, they smelled bad and you could see they have been in and out of the fridge hundreds of times before. Advice: use single portions for each customer. The cheese was good. We also had a sandwich but the bread was too crunchy. Last thing, the whole service could be faster. My vote here is...

Ci sono stata un po di tempo fa...essendoci ritornata mi è venuto in mente di recensirlo. .. pessimo trattamento...eravamo in 4 ma in 2 abbiamo preso il gelato di fronte....immagino che dia fastidio ma è 1 bel modo di collaborare coi locali di fronte per chi vuole invece bersi 1 birra...la cameriera ci ha maleducatamente invitate ad alzarci o prendere per forza 1 bottiglietta d acqua che avremmo pagato 3 euro...quindi ci siamo alzate e finito il nostro gelato in piedi accanto ai nostri parenti che finivano di bere i boccali di birra....tutte le persone ci guardavano. ...tavoli liberi ce n erano!se fossero serviti ci saremmo alzate da sole....a Torino queste cose non succedono.Io sono 1 direttrice di un ristorante e vi ricordo che i modi sono importantissimi. ..soprattutto per chi come noi nella disperazione più assoluta di un parente in ospedale li a Pavia. ...ha voluto svagare la mente facendo 1 giretto in centro e ha incontrato delle persone che anziché un sorriso e della cortesia hanno offerto la maleducazione più...
