Mezza luna — Restaurant in Perugia

TLDR: food not worth price paid but ambiance and service was very sweet

FYI: you will pay a cover of 1.50-2.00 per person just for sitting down.

Bread hard and cold and a bit stale.

Beef and tuna was good the first few bites but a lot of mayo or white sauce. Overpowers in overall taste.

The raw beef dish was smoked and salty on top of lettuce and really thick slices… made it too salty isn’t it a raw light thin sliced beef dish?

External sitting charge 2.00 euro and internal sitting charge 1.50 euro/person

Also chicken tomato salad second course… chicken was dry. Like many others said.

Sure, the food isn't good (picture barely noticeable sauces over chewy pasta) but it's the extraordinarily disdainful (& poor) service that really distinguishes this place. Service was nice and some of our food such as the pasta was good. But the lasagne was horrible as if from a frozen school cafeteria meal. The chicken was dry and had no flavour. The tomatoes were clearly seen to be left in the heat and were not fresh. The bread provided was stale.
