La Prosciutteria Perugia — Restaurant in Perugia

Wow, we enjoyed this place so much! What a beautiful place and a pearl in Perugia. I was here with my family. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. We sat inside, downstairs in the cool cellar, where the hams and sausages hang to dry from the ceiling. A great and cozy place with many Italians at the tables around us. We ordered the tagliere gourmet for two people and two schiacciata. We both first chose a glass of prosecco and later a prosecco and an Aperol spritz. We enjoyed the delicious fresh meats, cheeses, bread and fruit on two beautiful shelves full. The prosecco also paired fantastically. We had such a nice evening with you. When we are back in the cold Netherlands and we think of the Dolce Vita in Italy, we have a beautiful memory and we also think of beautiful Umbria and Perugia and your prosciutteria in particular! Thank you very much for this beautiful experience and fantastic evening! You should definitely not miss this place when you are in Perugia! Highly recommended! Vorrei poter dare ancora meno! Con le mie amiche siamo state a cena. Taglieri buoni ma sopravvalutati. La cosa più spiacevole è stata comunque un episodio connesso al vino. Abbiamo preso 4 bottiglie di Nero d'Avola ognuna delle quali costava 18€. A parte il fatto che ci sono arrivate al tavolo già stappate (cosa al quanto grave). Una bottiglia su 4 era evidentemente andata a male. Dopo aver fatto notare la cosa alla cameriera (che si è giustificata dicendo che lei non ci capiva niente in quanto non beve vino rosso :/ ) abbiamo parlato con il "responsabile" che ci ha riferito che avremmo comunque dovuto pagare mezza bottiglia in quanto versata nei calici e dunque consumata. In qualsiasi altro locale che si rispetti il responsabile/cameriere avrebbe dovuto assaggiare il vino (invece di buttarlo come hanno fatto loro) per verificare se il cliente ha ragione o meno e, solo in quel caso, decidere di conseguenza anche se farlo pagare o no.

Visto che non posso rispondere al proprietario continuo la recensione. Vorrei precisare che non c'è stata né presunzione né maleducazione da parte nostra, tanto che il ragazzo alla cassa mi ha anche detto "macché, tranquilla ho visto che tipe siete, è solo che io non posso fare di più, queste sono le politiche dall'alto" Quindi se per fare una bella figura sulle recensioni preferite buttarla sulla maleducazione e cose del genere avete veramente sbagliato persona! Se poi per maleducazione intendete che una persona che ha speso 72€ di vino nel vostro locale si accorge che una bottiglia è andata a male e pretendete che la beva lo stesso invece di farlo notare (in modo anche tranquillo e semplicemente ricercando un confronto/riscontro)... be, io qualche domanda me la farei! PS. il vino lo reggiamo benissimo, sicuramente più di quanto voi riuscite a reggere una critica (costruttiva)!

Ci terrei a precisare che le cose che ho scritto in questa recensione sono state fatte presente anche nel locale, per filo e per segno. Invece i ragazzi (che all'inizio si sono dimostrati molto gentili e simpatici) non hanno argomentato affatto.E poi mi ritrovo una risposta in cui mi si dice.. "L'uva magnala a chicchi." Che grinta! Perché non tirarla fuori al momento...

Compared to how this little chain markets themselves, it was a dissatisfactory experience. It's quite remarkable how it is possible to mess up taste when you mainly serve ham and cheese that doesn't even have to be cooked. But somehow they managed to make porchetta, pecorino and salumi taste... boring?

The room is small, loud and crowded, very stressful. There are outside places around the corner that are more relaxed.

What saved the day was the lovely young waitress who worked hard to give us a great experience.
