To the Management of Postó
I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service received at your establishment located in Pisa today, less than 40 minutes ago.
My sister and I, who are tourists, were in our first day in the city. We sat at a table for four people, located in the shade, roughly in the middle of the available space. We were waiting for our parents to get ice cream when a family arrived and wanted to join tables to sit together. My sister got up to get our ice creams with our parents, and I got up to move the table, intending to help and create more space for the family.
During the entire interaction between us and the family, the atmosphere was very comfortable and friendly. However, this pleasant environment was quickly disrupted by one of the waiters, a man with fair skin, beard, and brown hair, who rushed out of the establishment. He rudely grabbed my sister's phone from the table and placed it on another random table in the sun, ordering us to sit there. He then took our table and joined it with another one for the family to sit.
This action created a very uncomfortable situation. My sister told him that he had no right to move HER phone to another table without informing us and that he should not touch it. He replied that we had to sit there and that he was setting up the table for the family. We mentioned that we had occupied the table first, but due to his rudeness and lack of professionalism, we decided to leave.
We were very disappointed with this experience and hope that such behavior does not occur again, as it shows total unpreparedness and lack of respect for customers. We would like an official response from the establishment regarding this incident and the measures that will be taken to prevent similar situations in the future.
Sincerely,...
Read moreWe stopped at Po’stò Cafè in Pisa for breakfast, and it turned out to be one of those simple but really pleasant experiences that make traveling better. The place has a friendly and relaxed vibe, perfect for starting the day before exploring the city. The food was delicious and fresh—great coffee, pastries, and sandwiches, all at a very fair price. It really felt like excellent value for the money, especially considering how close it is to the main attractions. Service was quick and organized, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Even though English wasn’t their first language, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and understood the menu. You can tell they care about their customers, locals and tourists alike. Their patience and kindness made a big difference for us. If you’re in Pisa and want a good breakfast spot that feels local, this is definitely the place. Nothing pretentious—just good food, great service, and nice people. We left smiling and would go back again...
Read moreWe were first enjoying gelato and coffee from this establishment, until we faced the worst customer service experience during our stay in Italy. Waiter named Antonio attacked us, because we had EMPTY takeaway cup from previous cafe with us. We had ordered gelato and cafe from po'stò, tried to show him the receipts and everything, but he insisted that we needed to leave their terrace. We were completely shocked. After talking to other staff, they admitted it is not first time this happens (with Antonio). We were group of 5 people and everyone made an order at this cafe, one would assume you have every right to enjoy the purchased goods at the cafe, but this was not the case. Aggressive behaviour and profanities from Antonio is unacceptable and the management should take this kind of behaviour seriously (unless Antonio is the manager, if so, that would be even worse)... Fellow travellers, BEAWARE, we truly hope no one else gets same treatment...
