'O Famo Strano — Restaurant in Rome

What I loved the most about this place is that you can choose all the ingredients yourself for your sandwich and it will be made fresh right in front of you. The bread was amazing, it was fluffy and crusty, and all the ingredients were fresh and high quality.

The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating my order in a very detailed way, and they communicate English fluently which makes it easy for tourists like me. I was also very impressed by how clean and neat the place was. The price for the sandwich is also very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the food.

Overall, I was very impressed by this sandwich shop, and I would definitely go there again if I lived in Rome. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a fresh and delicious sandwich made with high quality...

The greatest sandwich I ever taste in my whole life!!! Firstly... it’s HUGE!!! Secondly... it’s CHEAP!!! And thirdly but most importantly... the taste is PERFECT!!! Ok! The idea is that you choose your main base (a piece of meat, a sausage, an omelette etc) and then you can add at least 5 (for the 4€ price) more ingredients from a huge variety of options! The problem is that all of the choices are so good to resist, so it maybe takes you some time to decide! The things that I like the most are that the ingredients are real food (not fast food) and that bread is chapata!...

A hidden gem near my hotel! O Famo Strano is a small, no-fuss, unassuming sandwich shop—but don’t let that fool you. I had a burger here and it was way better than the overpriced smash burger at the hotel, 100% tastier and literally half the price. Great value for money!

The couple running the place (I think they’re the owners) were super friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. If you're in the area and want something simple, delicious, and satisfying, this place is definitely...
