What a pizza!!!!!! Berberè Pizzeria delivers an exceptional dining experience that’s hard to beat! The Marinara, with its bold simplicity, showcased the quality of the tomato sauce and a subtle kick of garlic, proving that less can be more when the ingredients are this fresh. I absolutely loved this place! I honestly don’t understand why the rating is only 4.1—it deserves much higher. We’re staying at the Hub Social and so we stopped in for lunch after checking in yesterday. We ordered the marinated olives, Caprese salad, and the Speck & Gorgonzola pizza, and everything was unbelievably fresh and delicious. We had cocktails that were great as well, I had an Aperol spritz and my husband ordered a mule spritz which tasted like it was made with fresh ginger beer but I can’t be certain.

On top of that, our server was lovely—so kind (& patient with my language barrier) and incredibly attentive. A really great experience all around—in fact, it’s been the best meal that we’ve had in Roma thus far. We still have a few more days here, so we will be back. 19 giugno 2025, servizio disorganizzatissimo! In modo evidente e assurdo, voglio sperare fosse una serata storta, visto che altre recensioni parlano di un buon servizio. Eravamo in cinque, tavolo prenotato. Innanzitutto di norma appena seduti qualcuno dovrebbe chiedere se vuoi acqua, ancora prima di vedere il menu, soprattutto d'estate. Invece siamo stati del tutto abbandonati per almeno 20 minuti. Anche quando avevamo deciso le ordinazioni e provavamo a chiamare i camerieri, venivamo ignorati o ci veniva risposto di aspettare. Solo che tutti i camerieri sembrava vagassero per il locale senza particolare impegno, anche i pizzaioli non sembravano particolarmente indaffarati. Vedevamo camerieri portare con calma piatti ad altri tavoli, ma tipo un piatto per volta, non c'era molta gente ancora. E la cameriera che avrebbe dovuto prendere le nostre ordinazioni si metteva a preparare birre alla spina per altri tavoli; ma non avrebbe più senso prendere prima le ordinazioni? Ci vogliono 2 minuti e poi le mandi avanti, così potete spillare tutte le birre che volete mentre le nostre ordinazioni vengono preparate. Poi, una volta ordinato, abbiamo aspettato un tempo infinito per le pizze; ci siamo dovuti alzare per chiedere che fine avessero fatto (visto che da seduti nessuno si preoccupava di noi, pur essendo in mezzo al locale), abbiamo avuto l'impressione che si fossero proprio persi l'ordinazione. Insomma ci sono volute più di 2 ore per mangiare un supplì e una pizza a testa. Quando al momento di pagare il conto ci siamo lamentati del servizio, ci è stato fatto uno sconto, ma in generale il personale non è stato affatto bravo o gentile nel gestire la situazione durante la serata. Voto basso anche per l'ambiente: nonostante la bellissima location esterna, il locale all'interno come arredamento è freddo e sembra un fast food, e c'era musica di sottofondo troppo alta e del tutto fuori tema, sembrava la musica di una festa! Che c'entra con una pizzeria dove si sta seduti a mangiare e chiacchierare? Supplì e pizza buoni, ma non sono bastati a compensare il pessimo servizio, mi spiace.
