It was a happy accident that we walked into this hidden gem because a few other restaurants we wanted to go were closed in the neighbourhood. We are glad that they were closed so it brought us here!
The food was top quality in terms of taste and presentation. Although the menu was not very extensive and the dishes options are not the standard ones you get from other restaurants, but all the dishes we ordered were very special that you don’t usually get from elsewhere.
My dad ordered a tuna tataki (it was smoked tuna steak) and it was so tasty with refined touch. We also ordered a fish pasta and fried seafood, each were presented beyond our imagination. Almost like a Michelin star standard and you can tell the chef has put heart and soul into each dish.
It’s a little more pricey than other standard restaurants out there, but it is very very good value for its quality. It’s a lovely restaurant with cute decor, we would have booked this place for dinner next time and can dress up a little as the place was so nice that we felt slightly under dressed in our casual summer wear.
We were also too full for desserts but we were offered 3 little coffee cream sponge cake bites, they were goood!
I have 5 stars for everything except 4 for atmosphere because it was a very hot day and the air con was not strong enough for us. But we would definitely recommend this place to friends...
Read moreMy recent visit to Aqua Lunae in Roma was nothing short of perfection. From the moment I walked in to the final bite, every aspect of the experience was impeccable. As someone who is quite discerning about food, it's rare for me to finish my entire meal at a restaurant, but Aqua Lunae managed to exceed my expectations.
The culinary journey was a delight, and each dish showcased a meticulous attention to detail. The flavors were exquisite, leaving me genuinely impressed and satisfied. The menu offered a delightful variety, catering to diverse palates with a touch of sophistication.
What truly elevated the experience was the charming ambiance. Aqua Lunae boasts one of the cutest and most enjoyable environments I've encountered in a dining establishment. The decor, lighting, and overall atmosphere created a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.
I found myself happily savoring every moment, and, to my surprise, I not only finished my meal but did so with genuine delight. The combination of delectable cuisine and the charming ambiance made it an evening to remember.

Read moreWe stumbled upon this great restaurant by walking from our AirBnb and we have HIGH Recommendations to visit this restaurant. As a big family, we sat outside and our server, Giorgio greated us with a friendly smile. There was no force on consuming alcohol, and manage to change a few menu items to meet allergenic needs. Giorgio walked us through a educative dinner, were he told us where ingredients came from locally. I felt that this dinner was more than just a dinner, it was a real Italian experience. If you're looking for authentic Italian experience, this is the place to come. The tiramasu was presented and finished at the table! The attention and dedication to the details on the presentation was spot on. We knew the chef was proud of his creations.
If we would have stayed in Rome one more night, we would have come back. The breakfast was delicious. Thank you Giorgio, your friend from...
