Nightmare experience at the Brassai on Via Panico in Rome: rudeness and terrible service We will ABSOLUTELY AVOID this place in the future! We was only looking for a place to have breakfast in peace and with a minimum of courtesy.

With my two children, my wife and I went to Brassai, attracted by the menu displayed outside which read "American Breakfast". After ordering 3 American breakfasts, we waited a considerably long time. Concerned about the delay, my wife politely asked the owner if there were any problems with the order.

Instead of receiving a polite response, we were insulted and rudely kicked out of the place. The owner was arrogant, rude and completely out of control, shouting and yelling at us, even threatening us.

The experience was shocking and very bad. We felt humiliated and offended by behavior that has no justification. We never imagined being able to suffer such treatment in a public place, especially in such a beautiful city like Rome!

We were looking for a bar where we could have breakfast in peace and with a minimum of professionalism, but we immediately encountered the unimaginable.

In addition to the terrible service and the unspeakable rudeness of the owner, the place is also rather disorganized.

Unfortunately, we cannot give zero stars, but if we could, we would have done so without hesitation.

Never again! Reading the different reviews we discover that this rudeness and aggression towards customers seems to be a house rule. Next time we will be more careful!

Do not recommend spending money here. Food is fairly expensive given the quality. My glass was dirty along with the atmosphere. There was a broken wine stem on the ground near our table and pasta sauce? on the light fixture above our table. Food was very mediocre, didn’t taste fresh and the waitress took a very long time to serve the orange juice that came with my meal (it came after I requested it for the second time and after my food was served). Staff seemed confused and disorganized. Upon leaving I used the washroom. It was very dirty, there was no toilet seat, the sink was broken and I witnessed a staff member of the kitchen come out of the stall beside me and return directly to the kitchen where he proceeded to put his hat back on and begin cooking again.. WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS. Yuck. Very disappointed - please fix...

The place hasn't any type of organization, we have waited over 20 minutes for 2 salads and another 10 minutos for One more salad and sandwiche. The salads were ok, but the sandwich was too dry and the bread was so hard.

To make payment with a card they said that it wasn't working, that we had to pay on cash and for that they gave us some kind of discount. The some of all the food and drinks was exactly the price of what we paid, so therefore there was no discount applied !!! But we paid anyway since we only wanted to out of that place.

We right here so other people won't make the same mistake we did. The place may be very attractive at the outside but definitely not worth what it looks. You have much more places to go in the beautiful Rome, where you'll...

DON’T GO THERE ! We were seated at the table and once we ordered, the waiters started being very unfriendly. They asked us to move our stuff to let people sit right next to us while the whole terrace was empty. They charged us €50 for 2 simple pasta dishes (basic taste, supposed to be €13 each) and 2 Diet Cokes. We didn’t receive a receipt, and they forced us to pay in cash. Additionally, I’ve never seen such dirty toilets in my entire life !!!

Cute little cafe right at the corner of coronari street so lots of people to gaze at :) Coffee is tasty, unfortunately the “cheese and cold cuts” selection for vegetarians only consisted of three slices mozzarella which wasn’t too satisfying- also the other breakfast we’ve ordered unfortunately was missing the yoghurt. Cute spot, to sit outside, but expected a little more.
