Okay. I had the fettuccine al ragu and the broccoli (Alla Romana, maybe?), and the combination was like sitting at my grandmother's dining table for supper on Sunday when I was a kid. It's been 30 years since those days and it played out exactly like the scene from Ratatouille. Back to the food: Perfectly balanced flavors, perfect al dente pasta, perfectly toothy yet soft broccoli with just the right amount of garlic and hint of hot pepper. Yeah, I said "perfect" that many times. I was worried when the tiramisu held its own shape: In my experience, that usually correlates with dry and stiff ladyfingers. Not so in this case. The ladyfingers were nicely saturated without being soggy, and the shape held due to how they were alternated across two layers like a zig-zag pattern - cleverly done. Great flavor, too. The service was every bit the equal of the food: attentive, personable, knowledgeable on both the food and wines, with spot-on recommendations. An all-around excellent experience...would...

A hidden gem off the tourists’ paths. Yet it is I the center of the city. They have all afternoon long cuisine so it was a perfect spot for two hungry souls after a 2 hour long bus city tour ride. This place was opened just 6 months ago and needs some more publicity. The ambience is very suave most of the tables are with a white table cloth, but we asked for a table without it. Nice wooden tables are a great touch of Italian classics. Khaled was extremely friendly. Food was beyond our expectations. Why 4! Well, when I went to the bathroom there was no toilette paper. Even though they do have a person who is responsible for this part of the operation, somehow (s)he overlooked the non-existence of a TP. But from the gastronomical point of view, you will have nothing to worry about! Thanks you all for a lovely...

I saw this place listed on a local guide and had high hopes. Place was totally empty when we arrived (and any time we walked by during our week in Rome!). Staff were nice, but sadly the food wasn’t good. So poor in fact, that we cancelled our main course right away as we didn’t want to waste our money. The tartare was closer to a store-bought beef patty, without any addition of the typical Dijon, shallot, egg etc, and was entirely tasteless. The chicken Caesar Salad was again, tasteless and like a fast food salad dish. The staff were apologetic and offered a free glass of wine before we left. Maybe you’d like it though, and maybe the pasta is better.
