visited this gelato shop with my family and we all enjoyed our desserts. The affogato was the standout flavor, with its rich and creamy ice cream that was perfectly complemented by the hot espresso. The coffee and vanilla gelatos were also good, but they were a bit too sweet for my taste. The lemon gelato was tart and refreshing, but it was not as flavorful as the other two flavors.

Overall, I would give the gelato here a 4 out of 5 stars. The quality of the ingredients was high and the flavors were well-balanced. The service was also good and the atmosphere was cute and inviting.

GROM gelato meets my very high standard for flavor, texture, fragrance, selection, consistency, AND price! The seasonal flavors are unique and worth a try. Every time I try GROM, the classics never fail to hit the spot and I know that the serving sizes are generous compared to more expensive spots. Adding whipped cream is an extra €0.30 and not necessary unless you’re going to order a choccolata as well; which is ALSO delicious! I’ve been eating gelato across the city and GROM, while a chain here, has easily slid into top place for Rome. This location is very small inside; no seating or anything plus the space outdoors is small for a line. Whenever you see the line shorten, make sure you hurry over! Happened across Grom at Piazza Navona. They had the covered gelato containers, which I've been told is a sign of genuine recipe gelato and it seemed popular, so we gave it a try. I ordered a large gelato in a cone and selected coffee, glacé chestnut and creme grom. I've withheld a star as I found the cone hard and a little tough, and the gelato melted extremely quickly even in a mild March heat. However, the other 4 stars are well deserved.
