Not the best restaurant we have been on our trip of Italy. This place seems like a tourist trap with pricey wine compare to others. We were recommended by the server to order swordfish and tuna which was on their special menu. The food was too salty and we only ate 1/2 of it. The server didn't offer to remove these items off the bill unlike some restaurants that we have been in Florence that did. I would not come back here as the food is not the best quality, taste and value. The food is over priced for what you get and should have checked reviews online before coming here. Staff is nice and friendly but not the best restaurant or service we have had on this trip. They do charge $2-3 EUR for service fee but that is everywhere as the tips/service fee is included in many places in Europe which we didn't mind compared to Toronto, Canada where servers expect 10-15% tips and the service is mediocre. We love the service and food overall in Italy but this place is one of the worst places we have tried but it's not horrible. There are so many good restaurants and good value places to try in Italy so make sure to check online reviews before you choose a restaurant. The mussels with white sauce here is good, that's the only thing that we liked and the...

A+ meal and A++ service! So, on our way onto Rome we took the advice from another traveler, who had lived in Rome for over a year about some good restaurants to check out and this was the one she gave us by name. We made a point to try it out, because we love a good follow through to a quirky story but we weren't totally convinced this was the spot for us. The descriptions in the menu were fine, and the other diners looked happy but we were reluctant. BOY! We were wrong!!! That was a lovely meal, and I am so glad we took the advice from a nice lady (who had given us many reasons to trust her, but sometimes you are just generally doubtful, and you look in your past self in a head shaking sense) they took such good care of us, with humor and kindness and I am grateful. I might be the boss at ordering, but they are clearly experts at the rest.

Pictured: artichoke starter. Three very different and all amazing preparations for something like 14 euros, but it could be a main dish

Wine. Fantastic house red for 6 euros

Buccatini! Al dente perfection and an amazing fatty sauce

Tiramisu - the best tiramisu I've had in a...

Too expensive for what it offers in terms of service, food taste and quantities. Paid 10 euros for 4 falafels and heard the staff insulting other clients in arabic, not knowing we understand the language. I am vegetarian and their zucchini flowers come with anchovies, they do not specify it. I had to eat animals which is against my will. When we told them, the waiter didnt care and kept telling me its typical italian so i should know. They made us pay for it of course, and an extra 3 euro surcharge for being 2 on the table. Also, they reuse the same water bottles and refill them for 3.5eur. All in all, we are going to get pizza and get rid of the oily feeling we had eating the food there.

Theres better restaurants for cheaper. And were you dont get stomach...

Really nice place in the Jewish quarter. The restaurant is well known for adding artichokes to many dishes: for example the typical pasta "cacio e pepe" is here cacio e pepe with artichoke. Definitely would suggest artichokes "a la giudea" (Jewish artichokes) as a starter and any pasta dish for "primo", even though the artichoke could be a bit crispier. We have tried the ricotta cake with amarena for desserts, but it wasn't all too great. Coffee was really good though. Overall nice place at a great location plus not too pricey and with great wine selection. Would suggest grabbing a bite here after having a wander around the beautiful Jewish quarter.

Service: excellent, the waiters were friendly and fast. Atmosphere: we sat outside on the street. It is what it is. Food: Felt it was too expensive for the amount we got, quality was good but taste was not always great. Ordered: fried brains - delicious! But would have liked a small salad or something on the side rather than fried artichoke. Pasta with shrim and courget flowers - zero flowers, sauce had no taste (shrimps were large and tasty) Artichoke cooked in 3 ways- this was very interesting and a new idea for making artichoke but definitely not worth 16euro. Osobuko- My mum ordered it was very disappointing and refused to eat it.
