La Fenice Ristorante Wine Bar Caffè — Restaurant in Rome

Totally bad experience!!!!!!!!!! Ever

This is my first bad experience in Rome the working zone what I stay.

Today after lunch my colleague and I decided to have a quick cafe there.

By end we only ordered one cup of espresso and one cup of cappuccino, normally cost 3 € for all. We were standing in the bar and whole bar was empty, later we sat on the chair for 1 -2 min, then we went to casher, they charged us total 7 euro, which is totally doubled price up, without any services for 4 euro cappuccino, as we are rush to back to work, we didn’t argue them , just paid and left.

There are 1000 nice bars around piazza Spagna. Don’t wast your money for...

05/28/25 We stopped by La Fenice at the end of our bus tour in Rome looking for a place to eat lunch. We made the decision to eat at this restaurant, even though we were cutting it close to the time that we had to be back on our bus tour to return to the port in Civitavecchia. We told this to the staff, and they said they were able to cook our food in 15 minutes (the time we told them we had before we had to go back). They completed our order and we ate on the outdoor patio before leaving.

There is only one word to describe our pasta: DELICIOUS!! 😋 We hope that we could’ve not rushed eating the food, but that was our sign to hopefully come...

We recently went on a trip in Europe. While we were in Italy, we wanted to have pasta or spaghetti so when we found La Fenice we decided that we were going to stop by here for a late lunch even though we were cutting it close to make it back to the port in Civitavecchia in time. We asked the waiter if they could get it done in 15 minutes and he said yes. They gave us the pasta super quickly and we ate it. The pasta was DELICIOUS. I hope next time we come here we don’t need rush so we can admire and enjoy the food! Can’t wait until we come back....
