Francesco thank you! Our server was amazing. Our food and wine also amazing and the prices can't be beat. We ate here our last night several years ago before the renovation because it was close to the hotel. We hadn't had much luck around town finding good food and boy were we happy to find this place. So happy we've been talking about it for years so when we returned to Rome we stayed around the corner again in hopes to eat here once again. So we did twice! Our first night I got the fish and shrimp ravioli with a safron cream sauce. My husband and cousin the tuna steak and my mom the seabass. We shared a tuna tartar and fried little squids as an appetizer and we got tiramisu for dessert. Now when i was here the first time a couple years ago they tiramisu was homemade by the owner and it was delicious. This visit it had to have been store bought. It was a cake instead of lady fingers and was dry and not very flavorful as a tiramisu should be. Our second visit in 3 days we shared the fried baby octopus again and some fish ceviche. I got the ravioli again my cousin the ravioli and swordfish, my mother the scampi risotto and grilled scampi and my husband a pasta dish with grilled scampi. Everything was delicious. But we were to full for...
Read moreMy recent visit to Le virtù in tavola left me impressed with their delicious pasta and perfectly fried calamari. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of wines at reasonable prices, making it even more appealing. The pasta dishes I tried were truly outstanding. Each bite was filled with rich flavors and perfectly cooked al dente pasta. The calamari was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, a true delight for seafood lovers. What I particularly appreciated about Le virtù in tavola was their extensive wine list. It showcased a variety of options to complement the meal, and the prices were quite reasonable compared to other establishments. The staff was also knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations. Although I had a great experience overall, I am giving it four stars because the service was slightly slow during peak hours. However, the quality of the food and the value for money make it a worthwhile dining destination. If you're in search of good pasta, fried calamari, and a great selection of reasonably priced wines, I highly recommend visiting Le virtù in tavola. It's a culinary gem that...
Read moreI went with my girlfriend and honestly the food was the thing that kept us happy all night. The pasta I had was so much like homemade, with fresh truffle that made it earthy and strong taste, portion bigger than I even expected, and she had meat, soft inside and still juicy, like cooked with care. The place felt cozy, rustic maybe, tables too close but not annoying, people talking around, sometimes a bit louder, sometimes not, kind of that italian vibe you imagine. Prices not cheap, no, but I didn’t walk out angry about money, it felt fair, dishes looked nice on the plate also. The waiter, he talked about some specials, had a blue shirt I think or maybe black I don’t remember well, and he even brought a local wine to match my pasta, which really surprised me. I keep thinking about that dessert I saw on another table, maybe next time I will try, it...
