O' Sole e' Napule - Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rome

We came here on a Tuesday night at 8.30pm. We sat down and waited 20 minutes before someone came to take our order. Another 30 minutes just for our drinks to come (.5L of wine and small beer). Then 5 more minutes for wife's food to come (spaghetti with mushrooms), and then lastly 10 more minutes for my food (spaghetti with clams). Food was not worth the wait, rather meh for an hour wait. This place was packed, and we saw so many more people sat after us and wait just even longer to place an order and to get their food. It sorta became funny to see each table give these looks of "what the hell..." and of despair to each other. That was the quickest part of this restaurant experience, being seated at a table. After that, it's a long wait for meh food. Prices were at least reasonable. Staff looked over worked, confused and lost as they brought pizzas to wrong tables, and were kinda rude (maybe language barrier? so won't fault them too much on this). This was our...

I wish I could give this place a NEGATIVE 5 Star. It was 9 of us that visited this place on 11/21/2018 and the man that ran the cash register was awfully rude. He could have been the owner or the manager. After we paid for our pizza to go..he demanded we wait outside for our food...which we DID NOT!!. The cook did not add the chicken we asked for and then when we did, he placed uncooked chicken on the pizza!!! We sent it back, stood there for him to make another pizza and he proceeded to PICK THE RAW CHICKEN OFF OF THE PREVIOUS PIZZA TO PLACE IT ON THE NEW PIZZA!!!! I had to tell to stop him from doing that. I cancelled the chicken and asked for simple sausage. After many instructions, he finally made the pizza the way I asked. Unfortunately, when we got about 3 blocks back to our Air BNB..the pizza was soggy and falling apart!! The absolute worst!!!! Such a disappointment when 9 people are starving. Not...

Food was okayish. I have had better Pizzas in Rome and Milan during my visit. Now coming to the part which shocked me most. The cashier tried to to scam by putting wrong item in the bill for 6€. None of the staffs understood English but somehow I was able to communicate that extra item was added in the bill. He removed that item and gave another bill. Again he took the bill and just gave back the receipt of my payment. With the new bill also I could see for each pizza( I ordered two pizzas) extra 2.5 € was added. No, I am talking about 2€ service charge, that was added separately. I didn’t argue further and ended up paying the amount that was asked.
