Food was Ok but honestly nothing special (w had ravioli), tiramisu without mascarpone, everything was liqudish… and also price In comparison with taste and the portions is not that adequate 1) We made reservation there for sunday 10 pm, they were already giving negative vibes on The phone, 2) when we came and honestly all The time we were there with my friend we felt not welcomed, waiters were acting like they were irritated by us - i dont know if they have some problems with foreigners or they wanted to close earlier (opening hours in Google are until 23:30, we left at 23) but we never came across such negative behaviour from stuff especially In Italy 3) waiter took our plates before we finished eating with our cutlery being on The sides of plates without even asking - i guess basic gastronomy savour-vivre isn’t The thing Here 4) i am speaking a bit of italian and i always try to speak at least a bit of It while being In restaurant but still waiter was speaking mostly english with me but while my friend speaking to him only english all The time was alone at The table and paying he suddenly switched into only to italian 5) they gave us different kinds of bread as we were waiting for dishes but without Olive and they charged us for It 4 euros (we didnt even ate It All as basket he also took It without asking) We also have experience In waitressing so we know that people can be tired or have very intense day but that still is not expaining that level of being rude.

I have had many fine meals, but this evening at Osteria Poerio was the finest I can recall. From the antipasto, Carpaccio di manzo di kobe, salza ponzu e tartuffo (which was the finest antipasto serving I have ever had), to the creative and tasty ravioli with chianina filling, and the well-presented dolce, Semifreddo al Pistacchio it was a great evening. And the Osteria is attractive and clean. The servers are attentive and helpful.

In the off-beaten path of Monte Verde, this is a gem to find. Accidentally while walking on a calm Sunday I bumped into this charming and serene place, and so I decided to sit. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth a try. Real authentic Roman food. Their pasta alle vongole cannot be compared to the places I have been in Italy, excellently good. Highly recommended, try it and you’ll learn to return.

Very good food and nice staff. We (my boyfriend and I) shared a starter, and had different main courses. The starter was a dish called mixed fries wich was really good. For the main course my boyfriend had a pasta carbonara, but it was served with penne pasta so it felt a bit strange. I had a pasta with seafood and shellfish. It tasted really good, but there was a lot of shell from the shellfish, so I had to work a little to get out the good stuff. We had two different glasses of white wine. Both of them were good.

This restaurant isn't in the typical tourist-area, we found it when walking around to get some grip of the city. The staff understood, and talked, english. It is well worth a try if you...
