Osteria Romana — Restaurant in Rome

The moment I saw the price of coffee 5 Euros I knew this place is a rippoff. Reading some of the reviews here makes me believe non of those guys actually walked through Rome and actually tried different restaurant. We checked the dish of the day list which btw doesn't have any visible prices (you basically need to ask) and they were asking for 20 Euros for a ravioli !! When we asked why they said it is because they use an expensive mushroom. We didn't bother to ask about the rest and basically left to eat somewhere else. This was the most perfect place for delicious food, refreshing drinks, and the best atmosphere to enjoy with your partner. We popped in for lunch after we spent the morning at the coliseum. The aperol spritz was fresh and a perfect mix a flavors. I had the pasta carbonara and my partner had the gnocchi with meat sauce. Very good pasta. We tried pasta carbonara, pasta with tomatoes and parmesan and homemade pasta with eggplant, tomatoes and cheese (from their special menu) - all of it was impeccable and very tasty! Nice staff, fast and positive service. Not bad coffee. Prices are not expensive. Decent cafe, I definitely recommend eating there. P.S.: Pizza and sweets are not the strongest side of this restaurant (we tried tiramisu and profiteroles).
