If you aren’t Italian, don’t go. Very average food - think supermarket pizza. Only went as we wanted something small for dinner where we’re staying on our last night, early flight etc. We paid the cashier then she started complaining very loudly in Italian to young Italian customer about “stupid tourists” (specifically “stupid English”) and how tourists bring down the neighbourhood. Italian customer tried to say she thought how diversity makes Rome great and was clearly uncomfortable, but the woman didn’t stop. I don’t speak Italian, but I do speak French and Spanish enough to get the gist of what was being said. I’ve also been going to Italy all of my life. I understand mass tourism is a huge problem in Rome (as it is where I live as well), but it was my partner’s birthday weekend and his first time in Italy ever. Considering the cashier is an emigrant herself, it felt especially shocking and hurtful. Go to Hostaria Pizzeria da Nonna Nella or Treefolk’s instead. So many other places in this area are kind and have great food. This place is below average at best.
