I liked the pizza I ordered, but I did not like who the process of charging me went on. The Lady who took my order left, and then the older man, who seemed to be the owner just said 25 euro! I do not speak Italian so I asked for the receipt, and he gave me a receipt pf 2 items for 10euro and one for 5! I had 4 small pieces (1.80 euro) and one whole pizza for 8 euros, one arancini for 2euro and 4 euro for drink. I was charged by weight for my pieces which is understandable, but I have the right to know how much my pieces were each!! Not just a make up a receipt for 25 euros! And then he totally ignored me. I would have come back for the food, but not anymore. At the end it was not worth it for me to try to argue so I left. It was...

From New York so picky about my pizza. They charge by the weight but it's still a great spot for a cheap meal.

The pizza is some of the best I've ever had WHEN they warm it up in the pizza oven. It's hit or miss if they throw it in the oven or in a microwave so best to request that they warm it in the oven when you order. Even from the microwave it's great late night post bar pizza, but nowhere close to it coming crispy from the oven.

Overall a nice hole in the wall pizza shop, which is a great change of pace from the stuffy sit down restaurants that are the norm in Rome. They do prefer you pay in cash, but that's the norm in Rome.

Would be 5 stars if they threw away...

DO NOT GO HERE. the owner stole money from me and refused to give it back. everyone in the store vouched for me and said that i had paid but he refused to listen. it was so maddening for the other customers who saw it happen and knew that i had given him my money that a literal brawl broke out and he had to close the shop for the night. later in the night, some other people told me that he was very racist and that they had been mistreated by him because of their race. (in fact, i saw him curse out a Black customer who was minding his own business before the other incident happened). there is too much good pizza in Rome to give a racist thief like this your money! please...

The pizza here is to die for. We ate there every day (lunch, dinner, or snack) for the 3 days we were in Rome back in October 2023. It was the best pizza we ever ate. Affidable, budget friendly, and delicious! They offer pastas, grilled veges and pizza slices by the pound, any slice, any size. We tried a variety of different pastas and pizza slices every day. The staff was so nice, friendly and helpful. We talk of this PIZZA and place all the time. There is no comparison to the other pizza places we ate at while vacationing in Italy (Florence and Venice) (speaking of our experience only) or back home in Hawaii. Would definitely go back to Roma just for their pizza, lol!!
