Read moreCame here after long day of sight-seeing. Since it was so hot my friend and I wanted to split a pizza since we asked the first waiter how big it is. The pizza is enough for 2 or 3 people to eat. A different waiter then came by to take our order and he wouldn't let us order just one pizza for both of us. So we ordered two because it was too late to go anywhere else. We both ate exactly half of each pizza. Because we aren't staying anywhere to take the rest we left it there. Waste of food and waste of money. On top of that, I asked if I could sample the wine. He said no. So then I asked him if the wine was sweet or dry. He said all of the white wines that I had asked him about were dry. I ordered the moscato d'asti. It was sweeter than any moscato I've had in over 3 countries. Obviously he doesn't know anything about wines. What an awful experience for our last day in Rome. We also had to go up and pay after waiting hoping to be asked if we wanted dessert. He lost a tip from us and we are very generous tippers but I guess he can eat...
Read moreWe visited this fancy restaurant in Rome with the hopes of trying their pizza, as my two children were craving it. However, our experience was terrible. From the moment we arrived, the waiter looked us up and down in disgust.
To make matters worse, we were the only Asians(Arab) there, and unlike the white customers who were served with bread and other complimentary items, we were served with nothing. This unequal treatment was unacceptable, and made us feel unwelcome.
The service was poor, and we had to wait a long time to order. The staff seemed uninterested in providing us with a positive dining experience. To top it off, the food was not good at all.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The poor service, subpar food, and unequal treatment of customers based on race made for a terrible experience. If you're looking for good pizza, I suggest...
