We had simply the WORST experience we EVER had in a hotel. The hotel is very old, the rooms are old, the bathroom is really bad, everything is terrible at this hotel. And it smells like old stuff. In one day of our stay there, after spending a LONG DAY walking around the city, when we came back to The room all of our things were totally dirty with a disgusting unclean substance (it looks like a leak from the ceiling). You can check The photos to see what we found. We asked The reception for a refund of the days we would stay there and They said it was impossible to do it. We LOST our things, we threw EVERything away (tooth braces, make up, hygienic material) and we were only asking then for a refund for the days we had already pre-payed and woudn't stay anymore. We didn't want all of our money (despite The loss). Anyway, they got the money for the whole stay and we left the hotel. The only thing they offered was the room change. Of course we didn't want it after The experience we had there. Personal stuff in the trash, money not returned and a lot of headache. They stayed with all of our money and that's it. TRUELY I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. We wanted to pay for the days we slept but get the refund for the days we pre-paid and would not stay anymore. It was the least they could do. BAD,...

This hotel had a beautiful room, with nice receptionists, and a hot breakfast. It also had an elevator that went up the middle of a winding staircase. The bed was a memory foam mattress, which was pretty fantastic, and the bathroom had both a tub and separate shower. The reception was generally not very open to offering suggestions for specific restaurants, except for one guy, who was very eager to help us out and gave some pretty amazing suggestions.

There does seem to be no easy to keep housekeeping from cleaning your room daily. There is a button to press on your door that makes this red light blink, but they seem to completely ignore this light. Even if you are in the room, with the red light blinking, they will knock, then carefully come in. If you tell them no, they leave only to have the front desk call you to make absolutely sure that you don't want your room cleaned. It felt like a sort of funny losing battle. Overall, it was a great place to stay with...

Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. This hotel is awesome. Close to Everything! We walked to almost everywhere(even from the vatican) hop off and hop on bus station is very close. Breakfast very very good! By accident, I left my wedding ring in the room. I was worried the cleaning crew would take it but NO it was there when I got back to hotel after 12 hrs of being away. Honest people. One more thing... ( my opinion) if you have luggage ( we had 3 checked bags and 4 book bags) arrange transportation by taxi from airport to hotel. ( ask them!) We did the train and it was horrible .. dragging all that luggage was crazy. It is not worth it.! On the way back we are taking a taxi ( 55euros) also buy water in the super market about 2 blocks on venti settembre ( pam local I think) 40...

I had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights. It's quite close to many famous places such as borghese gallery & garden, Venezia Plaza - Foro Romano & Colosseum - Museum of Baths and more. Also a walkable distance to Termini station as well. The breakfast is decent and hoteliers are more than friendly, they answered all my emails in timely manner and the room I got was pretty spacious for one person. The only thing was that the room is very hot even with AC on and the AC is too loud to keep it on anyway. Other than that it was a great hotel.

Hotel is old fashioned, but this not a problem, problem is with the unfriendly staff, from the reception clerk, to the kitchen service. The reception is not neat and clerks are not helpful. And one of them doesn’t fit to be a receptionist at all. We had problems in reservations, and they barley helped us as a family, they let us change rooms in a 2 days stay. But positives are there, The location is great, near the city center and the Termini central station. Rooms were clean. Breakfast is ok, but still could be improved.
