When we were in Rome 5 years ago. We found this gem of a restaurant/pizzeria. It was across the street from our hotel.it was incredible. We returned to Rome last year and made sure we went back. There was a Waiter there the first time by the name of Memo. His service was incredible. He went above and beyond the first time round. The food was absolutely incredible. We ate there a few times, or just went over for an evening cocktail. He took such good care of us, as well as all the other staff. Some of our best meals were at 3 Archi. Having the opportunity to return last year was such a treat. We had another beautiful dinner on the outside terrace. It was amazing. The pasta and pizza were so authentic. The tiramisu was the best we ever had. Once again the service was wonderful. Warm and welcoming. All the staff work so hard and really know what service and taking care of the guest is all about. We Didn’t get to see Memo this time😢. He was suppose to be working, then was off that evening. So sorry we missed him. Thank you to all the wonderful front of house staff and back of house staff. Great team. We will be coming again in October 2024. I hope Memo will be there as well as all the friendly staff. Also we had the best Negroni in Rome at 3 Archi. We look forward to seeing you in October....
Read moreI visited this restaurant hoping for a satisfying Italian meal, but the experience fell far short. I ordered fettuccine with chicken and funghi, ossobuco with rice, and a cappuccino. The fettuccine was mediocre at best—not the worst I’ve had, but lacking flavor, texture, and balance. The ossobuco was especially disappointing. The meat was dry, tasted old, and had an unpleasant smell. It was overly salty and drowned in too much sauce, which masked any natural flavor the dish might have had. The cappuccino was equally underwhelming, tasting watered down and thin, missing the creaminess you expect in Italy.
Adding to the frustration, I ordered San Pellegrino three times, but it never arrived. There was no apology, no explanation—just disregard. The restaurant was not busy at all; in fact, I was the only guest. Yet the service was extremely slow. The staff remained in the back, casually chatting, completely ignoring the dining area and showing no interest in customer care or professionalism.
The setting could have been enjoyable, with outdoor seating and a quiet atmosphere, but the lack of service, poor food quality, and inattentive staff ruined the experience. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this place to anyone. Italy has countless excellent dining options, and this was not...
