The restaurant immediately ringed of fine-dining.
Upon the greeting, this was contrasted with an all-you-can-eat scheme.
Upon seating, and quite a wait, a confusing to use ordering device was shown to us by an staff member, who roughly explained that the all-you-can-eat menu comprised 5 small-plate dishes ordered through the iPad ordering kiosk.
After some fiddling around, we ordered 5 dishes each.
The service was extremely fast.
And the food looked great when it came. But its true quality showed itself when we started eating.
The sushi was inspired by the wrong inspirations. It was as if badly made food was presented to convince us it was sophisticated.
Strawberry sushi, whipped on salmon rolls.
The highlight of the meal, in fact, was the tried-and-tested Chinese noodles.
The restaurant shows off with a serving robot, which frequently becomes stuck, creating more work for the serving humans.
To finish, two more suprise dishes were brought out.
In comparison to the food in the area, and real Japanese food, this restaurant pales.
The food shouldn't be dubbed sushi.
If you're a tourist in Rome, I do not recommend that you make a special trip to visit...
Read moreIf I could rate this restaurant zero stars that’s where I would start. Upon arrival to the restaurant it seems as if it would be very nice. Decor was very upscale plateware was very nice, however, that’s where it stopped. The restaurant uses a tablet system for ordering which in theory makes sense because of Covid. However this is not user-friendly, no English option available. Server told us all you can eat for €19 a person. However know that if you do not enjoy the dish and eat ALL of it you will be charged. This was not depicted to us when we sat down. If you have ever had good sushi or even subpar sushi you’ll be extremely disappointed as this is no sushi bar. Photos of the food are not accurate when ordering. Very small portions, which is fine as it’s all you can eat however this is not Sushi but their interpretation of it. I am more than happy to pay 20+ dollars for a delicious roll it’s not about the cheap price for all you can eat we were looking for some delicious sushi and this was not it. Buyer beware I would definitely search out other restaurants before...
Read moreNice looking place but other than that it’s a huge train wreck. Tablet ordering system was designed by a toddler I’m guessing. Staff was clueless and had no clue what sake was or how to serve it. The food was so inedible I went to McDonald’s afterwards. They put American cheese on a roll. It was all you can eat for 1995 but what they don’t tell you is whatever you don’t finish you have to pay for even if it’s terrible. Which they should’ve paid me to eat in there because everything was terrible. However the Gyoza and shumai looked like somebody kicked it before it was delivered to my table. Nothing looks like it does on the ordering system or the or the website. Bottom line if you want good sushi they cannot provide this service. Terrible horrible dumpster fire. I’ve seen homeless guys picking stuff out of the trash...
