We walked by and saw the restaurant was very full so we checked out the menu which was rather enticing, then we asked a couple of patrons on their way out what they thought. They said it was one of their personal favourites and we could not have made a better decision. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted sincerely with warmth and friendliness as our server, Umberto, was brilliant in seeing to our every need as he laid out the menu choices as well as the nightly specials. They did not disappoint in any way, nope.. not at all!!! I can be a pretty fussy eater at times and ate every lick of food off my plates. As good as the food was it was also about the atmosphere and the pleasant energy of the joint. Kudos to this long established venue (1970) as they embark on their new culinary path, just launched this past April. It will only get better so we can highly recommend that you give it a try. The only bad thing is that it may well ruin you for any other restaurant during your time in Rome.. great value/service with even better food!!

Food here is absolutely amazing. The way they handle the seafood was impeccable. The tuna steak was breathtaking; the thick cut, external fry and the warm but raw center was in perfect balance. The scampi risotto was divine. It was so creamy and packed full of umami. The portions were really generous and their cocktails were also really nice. It's a shame we couldn't try their dessert since we were full by then. The service was really friendly and a great place for English speaking tourists. Would visit this place again next time we visit Rome.

Premesso che ero già stato da Tribeca diverse volte per l’aperitivo o per il pranzo, incuriosito dal nuovo menu, decido di andarci a cena. Che dire, è stata un’ottima scelta e soprattutto una piacevole (ri)scoperta in chiave risto-bistrot di un locale già conosciuto. Partiamo dall’accoglienza e dal servizio, permeato di passione per il proprio lavoro e gentilezza nei confronti del cliente: dopo aver ordinato, nell’attesa, ci offrono un calice di Franciacorta e un entrée di crostini con stracciatella e alici, buonissimi. Successivamente ci arriva il misto crudi di pesce, davvero di ottima qualità e carpacci dai sapori esotici e ben bilanciati. Davvero eccellenti le ostriche. I primi, tagliolini all’astice e tonnarelli gamberi, zafferano e limone, anch’essi davvero molto buoni, gustosi e ben conditi ed esteticamente raffinati. A seguire una fritturina di calamari e gamberi, eseguita molto bene e non unta. Concludiamo la cena con un fantastico semifreddo ai lamponi, consigliatoci, che si coniugava benissimo come fino pasto rispetto a quello che avevamo mangiato. Capitolo a parte merita la carta dei vini, ben assortita e dai prezzi davvero onesti. Noi abbiamo assaggiato un Traminer Aromatico IGT (Tenuta Luisa), un’esplosione di profumi e sapori che ci ha accompagnato ad ogni sorso per tutta la cena. Anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente (80€ in due). Presenti anche su The Fork, con lo sconto del 20%. Assolutamente consigliato.

Three of us went here last night, we all had steak which was ok. But my wife said the mojito was vile, two of us had a drink of Blonde beer it was disgusting and undrinkable. But being from the UK we didn't say a word and said everything was fine. I'm only putting up this review as both me and my friend have been up all night with sickness and diarrhea, Which we can only put down to the lager. The place itself was very nice any so were the waiters. But we're not going back...
