The brick space — Restaurant in Rome

Entrare da The Brick Space è un po’ come fare una pausa dal caos di Roma senza davvero allontanarsi. Appena varchi la porta, ti accoglie un ambiente moderno ma caldo, con quei dettagli che ti fanno pensare: “Ok, qui ci hanno messo amore e attenzione”. L’arredamento gioca con linee pulite e un vecchio soffitto a vista, creando uno spazio che riesce a essere contemporaneo senza risultare freddo. È uno di quei posti in cui ti senti subito a tuo agio, che tu sia da solo con un libro o con amici per una chiacchierata lunga ore. Il servizio è stato impeccabile. Il personale è gentile, sorridente e sempre pronto a scambiare due parole senza mai essere invadente. Ti fanno sentire più un ospite che un semplice cliente, e questa è una differenza enorme. Non c’è quella fretta di “servire e passare oltre” che si trova in certi locali del centro: qui c’è attenzione, cura, e un ritmo rilassato che ti fa godere davvero il momento. La caffetteria è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Ho preso un cappuccino e un espresso in momenti diversi della giornata, e in entrambi i casi la qualità si sentiva già dal profumo. Il cappuccino aveva una schiuma perfetta, cremosa al punto giusto, e l’espresso era intenso ma non amaro, con quel retrogusto rotondo che ti fa venir voglia di ordinarne subito un altro. Anche la selezione di dolci a banco merita: freschi, invitanti e presentati con cura. Quello che più mi ha colpito è stata la combinazione di bellezza dello spazio, qualità del servizio e bontà del caffè. In una piazza così vivace e ricca di contrasti come piazza Vittorio, trovare un posto che riesce a essere un punto fermo, un piccolo rifugio, non è scontato. Per me The Brick Space è senza dubbio il miglior posto della piazza. È quel locale che puoi scegliere per una colazione lenta, un pomeriggio di lavoro con il laptop, o un incontro con un amico che non vedi da tempo. Ogni volta che esco, ho la sensazione di essere stato in un posto che unisce professionalità e calore umano. E credetemi : in città, questa combinazione è oro.La prossima volta ci tonrnero’ a prendere un cocktail che ancora non ho assaggiato ma ne ho gia’ sentito parlare...

We got drinks and a tiramisu. The drinks card was diverse with tasteful drinks you can’t get everywhere, while it was also possible to get the more normal ones, if you ask. The level reaches some of the best places we have back home in Denmark, where we’re known for some of the best drinks and cocktail bars in the world. The tiramisu was also delicious.

And then the service was top. Very attentive and not any pressure to make quick or hesitant decisions. The music wasn’t too loud at all either.

It was noticeable that it’s a rather new place, just wanting to show how good they actually are - but they were never needy or too much.

Incredible friendly staff and drinks that resemble the level of high end drinks we expect from some of the best places in Denmark. The male bartender could make us anything - we went with some of their signatures and also stayed for an iced coffee and tiramisu. Very creamy tiramisu. Prices are more than fair (drinks 10-13€), we wish we could have stayed for lunch. We came in the day, maybe tinted windows and less lightning would have helped with the ambiance. I am sure the atmosphere would have been great in the evening. They also host musical events, unfortunately it was our last day. We will recommend...
