Youyou tea 奶茶店 — Restaurant in Rome

The tea itself is average - the taro tastes like they’re not using enough flavouring (we got it without sugar one time and it just tasted like milk) but overall it’s ok. However the three occasions I’ve had tapioca pearls they’ve been undercooked and clumped together every single time. Pearls are the fun part of the tea, biting into a pearl that’s turns into a stiff powdery texture halfway is nasty.

I appreciate that it’s one of the only bubble teas in Rome, but remembering to cook your pearls for an extra 1-2 minutes is...

I ordered Taro Milk Bubble Tea and Tiramisu with Tapioca. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was not mixed enough, which resulted in a gray sponge inside which was impossible to drink through a straw, the tapioca had no taste, it was clumped in one mass, which made it harder to drink the bubble tea. The place is small and understaffed. The one gentleman working served us hastily and answered with hostility any questions. The tea lacks taste but feels too sweet, and the milkshake is mildly acceptable... the food from the menu was unavailable.
