SURA RISTORANTE COREANO — Restaurant in Rome

We visited Sura today and were really impressed by the quality of the Korean food. Seriously, the savor and flavor were fantastic—it's definitely worth coming here just for the authentic taste. KIM MARI TWIGIM are good.

The location is great and easy to get to, and the cashier attention was top-notch; they were friendly and efficient.

​However, a few things kept this from being a 5-star experience. The main issue was the size of the dishes. While delicious, the portions felt quite small for the price, so you might need to order more than you usually would!

Also, when we requested chicken, we were only served wings, which was a bit confusing and disappointing—it would be helpful if the menu clarified the exact cut of chicken being served.

Finally, the restaurant only having one toilet led to a bit of a queue, which was slightly inconvenient.

I wish I could have tried the food there, however the gentleman working there just rudely kicked us out for coming into the restaurant. He didn’t ask if we had a reservation and just yelled at us “we have no tables, go wait outside”, when half the restaurant was empty. And again, he didn’t even check if we had a reservation. This experience was humiliating, as he yelled this in front of multiple other clients and made us feel really unwelcome. After a few days of just pizza and pasta, I was so glad to find this spot. Coming from the U.S., where we have tons of food options, this place really hit the spot. The tteokbokki, bulgogi, and Korean fried wings were hands down the best I’ve ever had. Super flavorful and cooked perfectly.
