Ristorante Nuovo Canestro — Restaurant in Rome

Very slow service. We came, had to wait way too long until someone finally comes to let us know the menu is on QR (which was available nowhere in sight). It was late so we wanted to have one pizza to share and we were told that we should order a pizza per one person. Ridiculous, this has never happened to us in Rome and this is not the first we visit this beautiful city. Grasp all, lose all, we left without ordering anything.

A rude and arrogant response of the restaurant's owners says all. Fortunately, a nearby restaurant was much more welcoming and served us well with no absurd comments about "charity". No one wanted anything for free. The owners have shown no class, just greed. Avoid at all cost as they do not respect...

A delightful restaurant that I suspect is a regular hotspot for the locals. Non commento mai ma oggi mi sento di farlo. Ciao titolare , sono uno dei ragazzi di ieri sera. La mia amica c’è rimasta malissimo, l’hai obbligata a shottarsi l’amaro perchè era tardi. Stessa cosa fatta con me. Adesso, capisco che voi dobbiate chiudere e quello che dicevi ieri ma c’è modo e modo. Va bene tutto, va bene il modo ciaciarone romano (ci vivo da 2 anni e lo amo) ma una cosa è far battute, un’altra è esser maleducati. Fin dall’inizio ci hai messo fretta, sia tu che il cameriere. Se non volevi che mangiassimo da te perchè era tardi ed eravate stanchi (capibile) non ci accettavi e basta. Non è che ci accetti e poi ci stai addosso tutto il tempo e ci obblighi a berci l’amaro tutto di un sorso. Idem con il resto dell’ordinazione, tutto di fretta. Con tanto di frecciatine e battutine che dopo un po’ basta. Anche perchè come ha detto la mia amica noi ti abbiamo pagato (4€ di amaro). Ripeto, nessuno ti ha puntato una pistola in testa quando abbiamo chiesto di cenare li. Se dici si, ci servi adeguatamente altrimenti ci rifiuti se devi chiudere e non si pone il problema. Per onestà ti dico che almeno la pizza era buona e grande. Mo immagino te la prenderai ma visto che ho scritto solo la verità e vedo che ci sono altre recensioni sullo stesso tema magari prendi spunto e migliora il servizio dato che la pizza è...
