We didn't know what to take and the lady was nice to let us taste different types of cheese and ham. Finally we took focaccia with prosciutto crudo and "mascalzone" cheese with Vernaccia, the typical wine from San Gimignano. All the food is local and mostly organic.

Good quality food and wine.Small place offering local products .few tables are available inside ..for wine , sandwiches with prosciutto and local pecorino cheese. Staff very friendly.

Das Mangius war der Grund für unseren Besuch von San Gimignano, alles andere wie der Torre Grossa und die ganze Stadt war nur ein Bonus. 😉 Wir haben uns hier mit Wein, Salami, Käse, Olivenöl, Balsamico, Grappa und co eingedeckt. Die Rechnung war dann gesalzen, aber mein Gott, man ist im Urlaub und gönnt sich was. Und wer weiss wann wir wieder mal herkommen? Wir können jedem, der gutes Essen und Trinken liebt nur ans Herz legen, hier reinzugehen und sich von der charmanten Chefin beraten zu lassen. Wir geniessen nun daheim ein Stück Toskana..
