Morgana Bar Review: Disappointing and Overhyped

From the outside, Morgana looks like an exclusive, high-end bar. The decor inside definitely matches that first impression—stylish and modern, with an ambiance that makes you think you’re in for a great night. However, that's where the positives end.

Right from the start, things felt off. There was a black guy dressed in red outside, seemingly part of the scene but not really interacting with anyone. It added to the overall weird vibe. Despite the place being nearly empty, we were told we needed to pay extra to get sorted for seating. This felt like a money grab, as there were plenty of open spots available, and yet one of their three bars was completely closed. The staff's behavior was sketchy and unprofessional. Upon arrival, they bizarrely asked for our last names, with no explanation or follow-up as to why.

The final straw was how we were treated throughout the night. Despite paying, we felt singled out and eventually were picked out of the bar for no clear reason. Overall, Morgana is all about appearances but fails to deliver a welcoming or enjoyable experience. It’s definitely not worth the hype...

We visited this lounge bar with a group of 7 people, including a pregnant friend and two non-drinkers. Initially, we came early to inquire about the place and were told that in order to sit at a table, we'd need to pay €50 each. However, we were given the option to stand around the bar without needing to pay that fee, which seemed like a reasonable alternative for our group.

Later that evening, when we returned, we were abruptly told we had to pay €50 each regardless of our previous agreement. Despite explaining the situation – including the fact that not all of us would be drinking – they insisted we either pay the full amount or leave.

We had 4 people in our group willing to spend more than €50 each, but the rigid and inflexible treatment from the staff drove us away. It's unfortunate that they missed out on good business due to poor communication and customer service.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and accommodating...

decent cocktail, confusing pricing structure, good decor but snooty attitude of the vibe of the place 😂 they wouldn’t take walkins & being turned away 2 nights in a row was already a hummer. once we made a reservation and showed up, the experience was only redemptive because of the kind people we talked to who were also patrons there. 😂 my wife and i wanted potato chips and instead gave us the whole round of appetizers, which is complementary at a $30 minimum spend, but since both of us only ordered one cocktail, they made us buy another cocktail before letting us close out. we left it there cuz we were really over it. 😂 they should just say “free appetizers if you spend more than x amount per person,” not “minimum spend” lol
