floating PANFUWA — Restaurant in Turin

I went to Panfuwa with my friend, as you can we chose two kind of pancakes, savoury and sweet, still, both tasted just like white eggs, the recipe of the pancakes needs to be changed, asap, a lot of people that i know that tried this place, said the same thing to me, it was a very disappointing experience. Moreover, we were grateful that wasn’t any queue but still we waited 30 mins for the pancakes. Also, i’m very passionate about Matcha, and the iced latte matcha was awful, so powdery and slightly green, i tasted just the soy milk😅. I hope that this review will help the Cafè. Since they sell just this, they should be selling excellent products. ( Toppings were ok, also u share the tables because the place is very small, some of the staff were very friendly, but still, they need ti change...

The food in general was very good quality but the overall experience HORRIBLE. We waited 40 minutes in the line which is fine because the place just opened but then the service inside was unacceptable (especially considering the prices). We waited 40 mins for our food and who arrived after us was served before(other clients had the same situation). The worst thing for me was the lack of privacy and constant being bothered of moving around your table since you need to share the table with strangers, sitting like 10cm next to them. I’m a big matcha connoisseur so I was very excited to try one but it wasn’t good at all. To add something positive, I can really admit that salmon and avocado on my pancake was super good quality. The pancakes here are absolutely delicious! We tried the crème brûlée pancake, the frutti fresca, and the lotus pancake — all of them were soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. The matcha cappuccino and the choco shake were also really good and paired perfectly with the desserts.

The only downside is the service. The place is very busy, and it feels like there aren’t enough staff to keep up with all the orders, so you may have to wait longer than expected.

Overall, the food is worth it and I would definitely recommend coming here if you’re craving fluffy pancakes, but be patient...
