60/40 Take Away — Restaurant in Venice

We came here a few times back in March 2024 and returned today for really delicious and fresh juice, coffee, super fresh sandwiches and a really lovely employee. This place is immaculate, well priced for what it is, and in a quiet and clean neighborhood with easy vaporetto access. I think the negative reviews come from people not understanding the type of sandwiches they'll get; there aren't sauces, spreads, or condiments that come on these sandwiches, just fresh ingredients and freshly sliced deli meats, which can be super delicious. No bathrooms. When you tell the sandwich maker that you'd like take away, they, without fail, warn you of the seagulls, which is kind and not something many people would do. During my trip to Venice, I got coffee from 60/40 every morning. Sometimes I would even go back for a quick panini during lunch time. The prices are much better than you find in the more tourist-travelled locations, and the coffee and sandwiches are fantastic! In addition, all the hosts I've met here have been extremely quick and friendly. All in all, I would say this place is good/above average. If you're staying in the area and you're looking for a quick take away cappuccino, I would highly recommend...

I'm a tour guide here in Venice and this place is a great spot for a break with my groups especially during the cold winter days!
