A Truly Authentic Italian Experience

I recently dined at Al Bagalo and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere made me feel like I had stepped right into Italy. The decor was charming, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish was a delightful journey through Italy’s culinary traditions. I started with the mix meat starter which was bursting with flavor and freshness. For my main course, I chose the spaghetti carbonara and it was nothing short of perfection. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and you could really taste the authenticity in every bite.

To top it all off, the dessert was divine. The tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal – light, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

What truly set Al Bagalo apart, though, was the attention to detail. The service was impeccable, with the staff making sure everything was just right. It’s clear that the chefs and team take great pride in providing an exceptional dining experience.

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine with great ambiance and excellent service, I highly recommend Al Bagalo. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their...

We are an Australian couple, having travelled around the World for the past 2 years, and literally as we were walking past this establishment, the young man our the front, kindly spoke to us, he has family in Australia and knew of our accents, he was so very polite and friendly, and even though we did not have a reservation, he suggested it would be still ok we come in to their Restaurant and try their food for dinner, so we did! And we are so glad he took us in. The food was unbelievable, absolutely delicious, as in the BEST food we've eaten in Italy. The atmosphere was very friendly, a bit of banter happened with certain two members of the staff, which was really nice, as its the way us Aussie's show respect. It's worthy of note, the whole experience here was just so fantastic due to the impeccable service we received from the staff. These young men clearly have high levels of skills and experience, plus friendly dispositions that you hope you will experience at a Restaurant in a new country, but so often cannot find. Well done Team, please don't change anything, your Trattoria is perfect, kind regards, the...

We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant in Venice! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

As a family of 7, we were craving some authentic Italian cuisine that was easy and affordable - this place delivered beyond our expectations. We indulged in delicious pizza, mussels, pasta, and risotto, and the best bread basket we’ve been presented with all holiday! Not to mention the delicious wine. All reasonable priced and cooked to perfection.

But what truly set this restaurant apart was the exceptional service. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly accommodating to our kids. They made the dining experience so much fun for the little ones, which made our meal even more enjoyable. Eating outside in the piazza was magical and such a beautiful atmosphere.

From start to finish, the service was flawless, and the food was out of this world. It's safe to say this was the best culinary experience we had during our trip to Italy. We can't wait to come back and savor these delectable Italian dishes again. Grazie mille for an unforgettable evening!...

Unfortunately the night we ended up at this restaurant it was a bit of a last resort as we hadn't booked anything and we had just arrived back from a day trip to Murano and Burano. This place was located near our Airbnb and the only reason we ate there was because it had tables outside. We ordered the beef lasagna and carbonara and sadly this meal was the worst of our trip. My lasagne was tasteless (I didn't finish it) and I put a load of balsamic vinegar on it just to give it some taste to eat it, it was very mushy. My husband's carbonara had loads of burnt bacon on top. The service was friendly but didn't make up for the quality of the meal.
