Farini, nestled in Venice’s vibrant Castello district, is a gem for food lovers seeking quality and convenience. This bustling bakery and pizzeria delivers exceptional pizza al taglio, boasting a fluffy, well-leavened crust and fresh, local ingredients. From classic margherita to inventive toppings like brie and speck, each slice is a delightful balance of flavor and texture, earning praise as some of Venice’s best. Beyond pizza, Farini excels with buttery croissants, pistachio brioche, and robust espresso, making it a top breakfast spot. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, with modern decor and friendly staff who navigate the crowds with efficiency. Prices are reasonable for Venice, offering great value without compromising quality. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice to enjoy by the Rialto Bridge or lingering over a cappuccino, Farini’s welcoming vibe and consistent excellence shine. The takeaway option is perfect for exploring Venice’s canals, and vegan choices cater to diverse diets. A must-visit for authentic Italian fare, Farini transforms simple ingredients into unforgettable meals, leaving you eager to return

I think Americans a lot of times cannot be trusted to rate pastry shops because they simply don’t know what a good croissant is. But THIS is a good croissant. This shop definitely deserves it’s good ratings. The staff is polite and work fast. The prices are very reasonable, fresh OJ is expensive but coffee is cheap (less than two euro for a soy latte!!). And wow, the croissants, the specialty pastry of this shop, are fantastic. They are not soft, like many American croissants, but instead have a strong structure, crunchy flaky exterior, and buttery inside. And they do not skimp on the fillings. The interior is absolutely EXPLODING with delicious creamy filling. The pistachio filling is my favorite, very nutty, smooth, decadent, not something I’ve ever seen in America. They also have amazing focaccia breakfast pizza-type dishes and a very hearty fruit and yogurt bowl with granola. The staff making the coffee knows their stuff, I had a couple different coffees, and I recommend them all. If you are in Venice don’t mess around with other pastry shops and just come here!

This was my second time visiting Farini in Venice, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy charm that makes you want to stay longer. The pizzas are absolutely outstanding, the dough is light, airy, and incredibly flavorful, which makes every bite a real delight. The balance of toppings and quality ingredients truly sets it apart from other places I’ve tried. What I appreciate the most is the consistency: both times I came here, the service was kind, and the taste was just as wonderful as I remembered. Farini has definitely become one of my favorite spots in Venice, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious pizza in a relaxed and authentic setting. A true gem that deserves every praise.

If you're in Venice and craving a quick, satisfying meal, the takeaway pizza options here are a solid choice, especially considering the price-quality ratio. While it may not be the most groundbreaking pizza you'll ever have, it does deliver exactly what you'd expect from a well-made, no-frills pizza.

The crust strikes a nice balance—not too thick, not too thin—and has a slightly crispy edge that adds a nice texture. The toppings are generous, with fresh ingredients that don’t overwhelm the base. While the flavors aren’t necessarily complex or revolutionary, the simplicity works in its favor. It’s the kind of pizza you’d want to grab when you're hungry after a long day of sightseeing, or when you just want something tasty without fuss.

The tomato sauce is vibrant, not overly sweet, and complements the cheese, which melts perfectly and adds a satisfying creaminess. The pepperoni and other meat options are well-seasoned, though the veggie varieties are equally good for those who prefer a lighter option. The pizzas are made quickly, and you can enjoy a hot meal within minutes of ordering, making it a great stop for takeaway when you're on the go.

The price point is reasonable, especially for Venice, where food costs can quickly add up. While the pizza doesn’t stand out as gourmet, it delivers consistent quality and taste, making it a solid and affordable choice for anyone looking to enjoy a quick meal in Venice. Overall, this takeaway pizza may not be exceptional, but it’s definitely delicious and satisfying—a perfect balance of...
