This hotel is above a restaurant. It appears to have four rooms up a flight of stairs. Entry was secure with three doors to unlock to get to your room.||The triple room we stayed in was nicely decorated. It had a modern bathroom, but the shower was very small. The room had a safe, refrigerator, and TV (although we didn’t turn it on). The location was great. It was a short walk to St. Mark’s Square, Rialto Bridge and the hospital area. It was close enough to all three to see signs directing you to the locations. After a day we could get to all the locations without getting lost. It is also located on a major street with many shops, restaurants and a well stocked grocery store. The rooms smelled stuffy when locked up so we opened windows during the day. However, we did get bug bites due to small mosquitoes entering the room.||The street was noisy but with the wood shutters and windows closed the noise was significantly reduced. The main noise came from thin walls (could hear next room coming and going and talking from the local apartment that had shared walls). In addition, we could hear laughing and talking in the restaurant until 11 and then the chairs and table being dragged inside until 11:30. We could then hear set up shortly before 9 am. We didn’t go to bed until after 11 so the noise did not seriously interrupt our sleep.||There was WiFi but it was super weak in the room. WiFi was good in the restaurant though. The breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice and several fresh muffins and rolls.||We booked the room at the last minute and got a good price for the area. My family though it was a big improvement over the other property we stayed the...

In a city often overwhelmed by tourist traps, I've stumbled upon a true culinary gem that has restored my faith in Venetian dining. This newly managed restaurant, just six months under new leadership, offers a fresh focus on quality and a charmingly designed ambiance that invites you in.
The manager’s kindness and attentiveness are rare finds in Venice, ensuring every guest feels like a VIP. The food is nothing short of extraordinary. We began our meal with a slowly, soft-boiled egg adorned with zucchini flowers and truffles, a dish that paired beautifully with their homemade breads. The black and green olive bread, in particular, was a standout.
For the main course, the seafood risotto was a revelation, with flavors perfectly balanced to highlight the freshness of the ingredients. The burrata was exquisite, with a consistency that melted effortlessly.
Dessert lovers will rejoice at the thought of tasting such care and attention to flavor. The tiramisu offered a delightful (literal) sparkle with each coffee-soaked bite. I kept wondering where this tickling sensation came from. The raspberry semifreddo delivered a fruity punch, beautifully complemented by unconditional pepper seasoning.
We enjoyed the house white wine, a dry and generous pour that left me delightfully tipsy. If you're in Venice and craving a dining experience that transcends the ordinary, this restaurant should be at the top...
