Don't ever eat at this restaurant!!! This is the worst restaurant I have ever seen!!! 👎👎👎 This restaurant is a total scam. If I had to give a bad review, I would definitely give it -5. My family and I went to this restaurant a few days ago after searching restaurants in Venice on Google and it had good reviews. I thought it would be okay to spend a little money as long as the family can enjoy the local food and have a good time in Venice. This restaurant ruined our dinner and brought shame to Venice.

When we sat down to order, the Indian-looking boss forced us to order more dishes. He said there were four of us and we had to order at least four dishes even though two of them were kids. I said I didn't want to order four dishes, we only wanted three and we could order more if they were good. One of the three dishes was grilled lobster. He didn't look very happy.

Secondly, when the dishes came, the lobster we ordered was too small, I guess it was only about 0.3 pounds, and I spent 45 euros! We didn't even get a bite of lobster meat! I told the waiter that it wasn't lobster, just baby lobster. He couldn't come up with any excuses but refused to make any concessions. We spent 87 euros in total for two dishes. The lobster dish had nothing to eat, just lobster shells and gills.

Thirdly, the taste of the other two dishes was worse than average. How can this restaurant receive 2,500 reviews, most of which are good, for such food and service? I checked and it seems that this restaurant cooperates with some tour guides to trick tourists to come here to eat, and then the tour guides ask tourists to write good reviews for the restaurant, and finally the tour guides share the profits with the restaurant. Of course, I have no evidence to prove this. However, from the service they provide and the quality of the dishes, I can infer that this is how they make money. From the photo of the three people, you can see that the relationship between the girl and the boss is much better than the relationship between ordinary customers and restaurants. The girl gave this restaurant a full score. I guess she is a tour guide. They are business partners.

THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST SERVICE EVER! In my 23 years of life, I have never experienced service at a restaurant as good as this! I went here with my parents for dinner in Venice and it was amazing! First of all, the seafood pasta was excellent! The seafood tasted FRESH, the portion size had me feeling full and satisfied, and it was highly affordable (18 euros)! It was much better, more filling, and 4 euros less than the seafood pasta I had at Burano Island. Second of all, the owner gave each of us (my parents and I) a free drink during our meal. There was a juice (non alcoholic; orange in the picture) version for me and an alcohol version (yellow in the picture). Third, they gave a generous amount of after dinner candies (6 candies for 3 people). AND when I was done dinner and ready to walk around Venice, the owner gifted us an extra tall extra large bottle of COLD WATER to take with us!!!! But that’s not all! After my parents and I were done walking around Venice, we passed by the restaurant again to go to our hotel and the owner said goodnight to us. My mother made a small comment to the owner on how she loved the free non-alcoholic juice drink that she tried. And upon hearing so, he rushed in to the restaurant to bring us 3 glasses of the non-alcoholic juice again! My parents and I enjoyed the drinks by the water. And to my surprise, the owner came out and GAVE US THE WHOLE JUICE CARTON which was still very full! Overall I’m extremely happy with the service, kind owner, and restaurant!! It was not only delicious but extremely affordable! They only charged us for the food we actually ordered and the bill did not require any cover fees nor tips (unlike in other restaurants we’ve been to). We’ll be coming back tomorrow...

We decided to try the Carbonara and the Spaghetti Vongole, and while the Carbonara didn't quite meet our expectations, the Spaghetti Vongole was an absolute delight. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the clams were cooked to perfection. It was evident that the chef paid great attention to detail when preparing this dish, and it truly shone through in every bite.

One of the standout aspects of L'Osteria Le Guglie is their reasonable prices. Considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience, we found the prices to be very fair and affordable. It's always a pleasant surprise when you can enjoy a delicious meal without breaking the bank.

In addition to our delightful main courses, we also had the pleasure of trying the Tiramisu at L'Osteria Le Guglie, and it did not disappoint. The classic Italian dessert was wonderfully executed, with layers of rich mascarpone cream and perfectly soaked ladyfingers. It was the perfect ending to our meal, and we savored every spoonful.

To top it all off, the restaurant graciously offered us free Limoncello and Chocolate at the end of our meal. This gesture added a lovely touch to the evening and left us feeling even more satisfied with our dining experience.

Overall, L'Osteria Le Guglie in Venice is a fantastic choice for those looking for a friendly and welcoming dining experience. While the Carbonara may not have been exceptional, the Spaghetti Vongole more than made up for it. With reasonable prices and the added bonus of complimentary Limoncello and Chocolate, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
