This was my first meal in Venice and it left me fuming. I had to walk outside to see the prix fixe menu as the regular menu did not include it. I ordered sparkling water and received still. Then I asked for a carafe of tap and the server said no. I waited more than fifteen minutes to ask for another bottle of water. Then I raised my hand to try to get the bill to no avail. It was like I was invisible. I found the portions to be quite small and too salty. The steak we ordered was rubbery and of poor quality. The carbonara was too salty and spicy because there was too much pepper. My lasagna was way too salty. It was such an unpleasant dining experience that I decided to grocery shop and made a nice brunch in my rental apartment the next day. I eat out frequently and rarely receive such a poor level of...

Gem of a restaurant on the main stroll of Venice! Had low expectations and didn't think it would be great as it seemed like a touristy place and they had a cheap set menu, 15 euro for a pasta, protein and side. Starter bread was the best pre-meal bread we had in Venice and pretty much all of Italy, high hydration and great crumb!

Both pastas we got were well cooked, good sauce, and good portion! Probably the best pasta we had in Italy. They also offered a different pasta to me at no charge, orricchiete instead of penne. Fish and potatoes were also cooked to perfection. Our server was the guy who stood out getting people into the restaurant and he was kind and fun! Would recommend, great value for price! It's not a fancy plated place but food was excellent?

Lastly we weren't charged the...

Unacceptable Behavior and Offensive Service – 0/10

Our visit to this establishment, which we initially looked forward to, turned into an absolutely unacceptable experience due to the behavior of one of the employees.

After being asked where we were from, the staff member proceeded to make offensive comments about our nationality, speak disrespectfully about our people, and insult the women of our country. Such displays of prejudice and hostility were shocking and completely unacceptable in any setting, especially in a customer service environment.

This behavior completely ruined our experience and left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and I sincerely hope the management takes action to...

Great Restaurant - Staff have a Big Heart! We were returning to our apartment and stopped at Serenissima restaurant for a nice cold draft beer. While seated outside my wife spotted a 16 year old dog being dragged along street by its collar. She yelled "Stop" and the owners did stop. I asked the waitress for a glass of water for the unfortunate dog, which she instantly supplied, no questions asked, amazing service in today's world. The dog drank some water and was carried home by its owner. While we did not eat at this restaurant I was quite impressed by the quality of the interior finish and the kindness displayed by the staff.

Worst experience ever. I’ve order Cezar salad. First I was surprised it has a carrot and arugula inside - but decided give it a try. Taste was below average. I’ve asked to do not include salad to check. Waiter refused to do so and insulted me that I’ve ate half of the salad and all chicken. Obviously it was a lie. Before / after and chicken you can see on photo. Waiter refused to call manager and was very rude. It’s a shame. P.S. Other food we have ordered - pizza and risotto was fine, but not great - just average
