Came here excited after reading the reviews however I can say I was disappointed. I was a table for one and the restaurant was quiet at the time. I ordered the vongole which was okay. The first bite into the pasta had quite a lot of sand. I understand it can happen but it was a decent amount and the pasta was bland (especially for the price I was paying I expected more) The spider crab entree was nice but nothing special. The saving item was the muscles they were cooked perfectly and had a nice sauce. CIBO: buono. Antipasto fresco e gradevole. Il loro piatto forte l'ho trovato "turistico". Si chiama Bucintoro, é una sorta di sauté di frutti di mare in rosso, servito in padella tipo "grolla dell'amicizia", dove quando hai finito di mangiare i molluschi ti ci versano la pasta. Bello? Dipende quanto ti piace l'etnico. Cmq l'ho trovato eccessivamente salato e il pesce era troppo cotto. (Forse sono io cmq 😬) Vino buono, con 30 € bevi: Etna, Malvasia istriana e il brut rosé: ottimo direi. IL SERVIZIO: ottimo. La ragazza che ci ha seguito è stata gentile e solerte. I titolari ti accolgono con il sorriso e spero lo facciano ancora dopo quello che sto scrivendo 🤔 e sto per dire😱. AMBIENTE: Nota dolente 😂... Sono rimasto perplesso subito appena entrato. Pur piacendomi l'uso del verde a parete, penso che il color bottiglia abbia appesantito il luogo già carico di per sé, probabilmente un verde Glauco, più chiaro ed elegante mi avrebbe reso più distensivo il tutto, (ma non stiamo qui a fare consulenze). Lasciando perdere il pavimento in piastrella finto legno, che pur pratico per le acque alte, mi è simpatico come il sorriso di una dentiera nel bicchiere sul comodino! Quindi passando oltre: non ho capito la panca rivestita in capitonné stile pub Irish/western, abbinata alle tovagliette con il menù disegnato sopra modalità tavola calda di periferia. Troppa confusione, di cose "cringe" con cose belle, si evince che manca un'idea coerente che crei armonia. Sembra quei compiti copiati dal compagno di banco, dove ci sono cose buone ma messe insieme a caso, (va bene ispirarsi ai locali belli, ma bisogna anche saper copiare). Perché cmq ci sono cose buone: le travi a vista con i soffitti alti, i piani in legno (vero) decortecciato, le boiserie basse a parete, le lampade in vetro, ma soprattutto i bicchieri di Boglasses, in vetro riutilizzato da vecchie bottiglie. Progetto romantico e di upcycling lodevole, qui solo: Ten points to Gryffindor... Perché cmq sono stato Severus...

Food is good but service is terrible. I walked in with a family of 8 and the staff treated us like a nuisance. The waiter would leave as we were talking to them and asked us to all order the same thing so as to not slow down their kitchen! We were kind and respectful but theywouldn’t even come to check on us or offer a dessert menu. Again it’s a shame because the food was actually good. Venetika, don’t assume tourists are idiots.
