Enobocconi — Restaurant in Verona

This place was such a great experience in our tour in Verona, that after 4 weeks, long after our holiday we still talk about it and try to mimic the culinary experience we had. Alberto (the owner) is great, if you let him give you what he likes. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable in his field. There were great things in Verona, but we just want to have this evening again. A small tip, we were hungry after a whole day of walking, looking for food. If you eat his cheeses and hams, drink his wine, it will be enough. No need to eat before or after.

Edit: after a year we came back. I think our experience was even better this time, despite having massive expectations. The menu has been expanded, the quality of his stuff, not sure how, but it was even better. I think we'll come next year again.

The Google reviews don’t lie - this place is incredible. We came here on account of rave reviews and weren’t disappointed. Alberto knows his stuff. The salumi platter included one of his own salami (aged to perfection). Cheese platter was similarly tasty and paired well with the mustard pear. As for the wine list, well I’m glad we knew a little about local wines so we could preference a lovely local white. Super long list and Alberto knew about them all. We so enjoyed this and will return before we leave Verona.

Verona was the final stop of our Northern Italy trip, and Enobocconi became one of the highlights. This charming wine bar and its wonderful sommelier impressed us so much that we came back two nights in a row.

Alberto has an incredible talent for selecting wines and pairing them with delicious prosciutto, cured meats, and house pickles. His warm hospitality and excellent recommendations made the experience truly special.
