I travel a lot and I’ve had amazing Italian food all over the country – from Naples to Florence to little hidden gems in Sicily. So believe me when I say: this place is a complete disaster.
I stopped here because of the good reviews (big mistake!) but I should’ve known better. The food was absolutely terrible. It’s the kind of place that survives off tourists who don’t know what real Italian food is supposed to taste like.
Everything was bland, poorly cooked, and felt mass-produced. The wine? White wine served warm – in JUNE. Come on. The dishes? Overpriced, underwhelming, and whatever “chef” made them clearly doesn’t know the basics. Pasta overcooked, sauce watery, and meat tough like rubber. I’ve had better meals on airplanes.
The place was packed with tourists and not a single local in sight – that should tell you everything.
To top it off, the hunchback waiter was rude, seemed annoyed from the second we walked in. No warmth, no hospitality, and zero care for the guests.

They were celebrating the food and wine like it's the last day on earth. After I've been seated by a very friendly waitress I ordered the Ragou di Cortile. Read moreWe wandered past and the cosy atmosphere caught out eye. Loris, our wonderful water guided us through the menu and our dietary restrictions and recommended some great dishes.
The staff were very attentive but not pushy. He even recommended the perfect dessert to finish the meal. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy dining there and would go back in an instant.
