On a Friday, early evening (22/08) I happened upon this restaurant and was the only customer there. The sushi is outstanding. I went with the Omakase, and every mouthful was a delight. The restaurant is run by a singular chef and he truly a master of his craft; operating this restaurant for the last 45 years. He is a very kind and warm person and you will need to use a translation app if you don’t speak Japanese. This was a truly authentic experience. I only wish I spoke better Japanese to really express how much I enjoyed the meal. Cash only, so come prepared

If you are not in hurry and good in using translation app, i strongly recommended this restaurant. Just two blocks from Aomori station. Old chef did all works in restaurant when we visited. It took some time but i was happy to wait and got a good meal.

The kind owner took good care of me and my wife and meticulously prepared a delicious omakase plate for us. He explained about the fish and talked about the restaurant's history. It was very interesting!

Although we barely speak any Japanese we kept a friendly conversation going for most of the time.
