It should be the restaurant I recommend the most in the downtown of Aomori!! Although the owner and his wife cannot speak English, the hospitality was warm and nice. The volume of each course was. Big and delicious. For the people who are looking for local Japanese wines, they also offer wines with good quality. Don’t miss out if you are in Aomori!!! Extremely recommended

Very nice people towards a western guy looking for some good sushi. You can find that here. Had a sushi platter filled with wonderful selections. All of it fresh and tasty. I found the experience 5 star. Very good price of 1900Y for the platter, miso, and hot tea.

Man bekommt nicht, was man bestellt (ich wollte nur ein Stück Thunfisch Sashimi und bekam einen großen Teller - an den Sprachkenntnissen kann es nicht gelegen haben, da eine Japanerin für mich übersetzte). Es werden sich utopische Preise ausgedacht. Man bekommt auf Nachfrage kein Wechselgeld und dann wird behauptet, man habe sich zuerst verrechnet und der Preis wäre sogar noch höher. Abzocke. Furchtbarer Laden. Außerdem läuft eine Katze im Restaurant umher, die Eigentümer streicheln sie und fassen anschließend das Essen wieder an, ekelhaft.

Can’t believe the good reviews from others. One of the worst I had for a long time. Cooked Fish and shrimp were cold. Sashimi not fresh and scallop over baked. We heard usage microwave. Basically all food pre cooked and nothing was made on spot. And the price was quite expensive compared to other restaurants nearby even if the food was good. Given the worst food for a long time, the price is completely not justifiable. I wouldn’t visit and eat the food here again even if free. It...

We enjoyed Washokou Oomoriya very much. We felt welcome and sat at the counter. The hosts were very friendly and spoke slowly since we could not fully read the menu. We were happy with our choice of local Aomori dishes (sashimi set and the baked clam with egg). We definitely recommend...
