The owners are a lovely couple, and they’re experts in tequila and mezcal (with certifications🤯). They introduced us to a whole new world of flavors that paired beautifully with the food.

This is not fast food Mexican. This is not your local taqueria. This is sit down restaurant quality Mexican in a small old Japanese kominka house. Missed Mexican since moving to Beppu. I have found excellent prepared, excellent tasting Mexican fare with a Japanese spin. Street tacos, house presses tortillas, house made spices. And she is a Mezcal sommelier. 6 tacos, tortilla soup, 4500 yen or $30. Really great price for this level quality food. It's more like Mexican cuisine than Mexican food. Large step up. What an incredible experience! Me and a friend started with the Taco set and were surprised at how affordable everything was for the quality. After trying the first 3, we had to try all of them.

Was amazed by the warmth of the staff, how delicious the food was, how affordable it was, and of course the great tequila recommendations and wonderful aesthetic!

The chicken tempura taco is especially unique and delicious.

Easily my favourite Mexican food restaraunt in Japan....
