Hanon — Restaurant in Chatan

We were seated at a large table. We placed our order. After a period of time, another family of 4 arrived and seated at the other end of the large table. They brought my meal but mistakenly gave my 2 kids meals to the children who were seated at the other end of the table.

At that point, I had no choice but to split up my breakfast between my hungry, restless kids. I was really disappointed that they offered no restitution for their careless error. Although the food was good and the coffee was phenomenal, this put a damper on our experience and made it impossible to really enjoy our breakfast. Instead, we had to figure out how to appease the children and I was unable to enjoy what I ordered. At the risk of sounding petty, such an inconvenience warrants some type of restitution in my opinion.

I won't say that you shouldn't try it because my unfortunate experience there most likely won't be yours and the food and coffee are good but recommendation and ratings are 2 different things. My rating is based on my experience but my recommendation would probably be based on the fact that it probably won't happen again. My wife couldn't believe it when I actually suggested going there again. Did I mention that they had good food?

Visited 27 April 2024-Located on the second floor inside the Seaside building at Depot Island, American Village. The restaurant is medium sized with 5 tables outside and around 10-15 inside. We arrived around 0930, not crowded and was seated immediately. Large variety of plates with pancakes dominating the menu. The drink menu is very good as well. The food does take a while to be prepared but there are signs in English and Japanese explaining that the pancakes are made from scratch. The Staff is at an average level, they just seat you , take your order and bring your food. They don't come back and check on your table except to bring your check. The atmosphere is nice and view is great also but it's missing color and expression on the walls. If you like fluffy pancakes, this is definitely a place to visit. The variety is very good. It will be a small challenge to find though. It's near the large free parking lot at the end of the Depot Island road before the Hilton Doubletree. 更新: 家に帰ったら、注文したものと違うものが入っていました。私はフレンチクリームパンケーキプレート（ソーセージ付き）を注文し、店員もソーセージを確認してくれたのに、帰宅して開けたら普通のパンケーキとベーコンが入っていました。フレンチクリームパンケーキのアップグレードとソーセージの代金を支払ったのに、実際には受け取れませんでした。 お金を払ったのに違うものを渡されるなんて、本当に不満です。

おすすめしません。

料理は美味しいですが、待ち時間が異常に長いです。普段はUberで注文していますが、今日は近くにいたので直接行って持ち帰りを頼むことにしました。持ち帰りの客も順番を呼ばれるまで待たなければならないのか確認したところ、「はい」とのこと。結果、テイクアウトの注文をするだけで1時間近く待たされました。

受付はタブレットで行い、順番が来たら番号を呼ばれるシステムです。ただし、非ローカルの電話番号は登録できないため、45分以上、店の外で座って待つしかありません。 せっかくの休みの日に、ただ座って待つ時間が1時間以上もあるなんて、ありえません。料理は美味しいですが、それに見合う価値はありません。Uberならすぐに注文でき、配達料もたった5ドルほどで1時間以内に届くので、もう店には行きません。

本当に後悔しています。注文するのに45分、その後さらに20分以上、寒い外でたった一つのパンケーキのために待たされました。 お腹が空いているし、疲れているし、寒いし、まだ用事もあるのに…最悪です。二度と来ません。

店内で食べるならまだいいかもしれませんが、ローカルの電話番号がないと待ち時間に外出することもできません。 家族と特別な食事をするなら良いでしょう。でも持ち帰りをするなら絶対におすすめしません。 Uberを使うか、BunBunのような別の店に行った方がいいです。ここでは、美味しいはずの食事が、後悔するだけのイライラ体験に変わります。

Update: got home and they didn't even give me the right order. I got the French cream pancake plate with sausage. She even confirmed the sausage when I ordered, then I got home and instead I got regular pancakes and bacon. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The food is great but the wait is excessive. I usually order via Uber but was in the area today and figured I'd drop by to grab something to take home. Asked if those who wanted their food to go also needed to wait to be called and they said yes. I waited nearly an hour to PLACE my takeout order. They have you check in via a tablet which will provide you with a number for them to call when it's your turn. You can input a number for them to text or call when it's your turn, but it does NOT accept non-local numbers which means you will be stuck sitting outside their door waiting to be called for the 45+minutes. Over an hour just sitting waiting is not the way to spend a day off. The food is good, but not worth that. I'll stick to Uber-which will let you immediately place your order and get your food delivered within an hour for only like $5 more. Can honestly say i regret coming and will not do this again. 45 min to place my order then over another 20 just waiting on my single order of pancakes-all sitting outside in the cold. Hungry, tired, cold, and I have errands to do. Not happy. Absolutely sucks. Come if you want to eat in and have a local number so you can walk around while you wait. If you're wanting to eat in and it's a special thing with family. If you want takeout absolutely don't waste your time. Just use Uber or go someplace else, like bunbun. This place will turn a tasty treat into an aggravating experience you regret even...
