Tucked away in the quiet streets of Chatan, Okinawa, Hale Noa Cafe brings the flavors of the Hawaiian islands to this charming town, offering a delightful escape to tropical paradise.
As you step into the cafe, you're immediately greeted by a bright and cheerful atmosphere that transports you to a laid-back island vibe. Despite its compact size, the cafe's warm and inviting ambiance creates a perfect setting for a relaxing breakfast experience.
The staff at Hale Noa Cafe exemplify genuine hospitality, embodying the spirit of aloha with their friendly smiles and attentive service. Their warm welcome makes diners feel right at home, adding a touch of authenticity to the Hawaiian experience.
The highlight of the dining adventure at Hale Noa Cafe is undoubtedly its phenomenal Hawaiian-style breakfast fare. The French toast stands out as a true star, tantalizing your taste buds with its perfectly balanced flavors and textures, leaving you craving more with each bite.
For those seeking a hearty and diverse breakfast, the Loco Boy Breakfast is an absolute must-try. This smorgasbord of Hawaiian delights showcases the rich flavors of the island, offering a delightful combination of tastes that celebrate the essence of Hawaiian cuisine.
However, not every dish reaches the same level of excellence. While the French toast and Loco Boy Breakfast are exceptional, the pancakes fall short of expectations, lacking the same level of flavor and finesse.
To complement your meal, indulge in one of Hale Noa Cafe's signature smoothies. Bursting with tropical goodness, these refreshing beverages capture the essence of Hawaii, providing a delightful accompaniment to your breakfast feast.
While the food quality is undeniably exceptional, it's important to be mindful of the pricing. Hale Noa Cafe's menu can be on the higher end, with meals ranging upwards of $12 to $18. When adding a smoothie, the total cost can approach $30, making it more of a special treat than an everyday dining spot.
One minor setback is the limited parking and seating availability. Especially during peak hours, finding a spot inside the cafe might require some patience and planning.
In summary, Hale Noa Cafe in Chatan, Okinawa, offers a taste of Hawaiian paradise with its delectable Hawaiian-style breakfast offerings and welcoming ambiance. The standout French toast and delightful Loco Boy Breakfast are reason enough to visit this eatery. If you find yourself in Chatan and crave a tropical breakfast experience, Hale Noa Cafe should be high on your list of must-visit places, bringing a touch of aloha...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat breakfast/brunch spot. They have a small patio so you can eat outside as well as an inside area. It gets packed quickly though as this is a popular spot. I tried an omelette, eggs Benedict (North Shore) and the smoothie bowl.
The smoothie bowl looked much better when I ate there then in their menu. The flavor was good. I went to a place where you could taste the refrigeration, there was no issue like that here. The fruit was still frozen in some cases, so it wasn't fresh fresh fruit, but that was ok. I give it 4 stars. Their omelette was massive. I only had a few bites since this was my friends order, but it was also very solid. 4.5 stars. The North Shore Benedict which was recommended to be was very good. I ordered it for takeout. Decided to take a bite while it was still fresh and found myself eating half of over Benedict immediately. 5 stars
The price on the breakfast was a bit higher but the quality did meet up well enough.
Parking was a bit difficult. They have a private small lot, but it was full when I got there. You can park on the road along the Bannister on the left side when facing the restaurant. I thought it would be very full but found a spot quickly (I have a small car though)
They take all manners of card including American Express.
The Menu was easy to read as an English speaker and the servers were able to communicate ok in English.
Looking forward to returning to try more of the menu. If I find myself craving or coming back alot I will upgrade...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely amazing food. I wanted to order the whole Menu before I even tried anything. What I did order did NOT disappoint! For the best experience: Note: -There is limited parking -On a Saturday it was busy at 10 and had to put our name on the list, but worth the wait! And it mellowed out around 11-12
-I would say for best experience invite one other person or a small group of four
-I would definitely bring yen to save money cause it gets pricey with USD.. but still worth it!
-you can order to go, or get a to go box, the food portions are hefty!
as for water you serve it yourself but note itās not plain water it lemon water, which is either a plus or not
My experience:
My salad was packed with flavor!
The bacon although almost looks like bacon doesnāt have that ābaconā taste but I enjoyed it for what it was still
The açaà bowl was amazing! Very tasty
I also got a smoothie in a mason jar cup
Overall all the food was presented well
My boyfriend had the French toast with peanut butter and banana! Sooo good
