I went here tonight for the first time I really wanted to love it based on the good ratings but it just wasn’t it. I love Thai food but I don’t know what this was, i’m from California and they have better Thai food there than they did here I got the pad Thai and the fried spring rolls.
First off the fried spring rolls are literally just stuffed with cabbage and carrots if you’re expecting an eggroll that has meat in it like a lumpia this is not it I definitely could’ve gone without even ordering the fried spring rolls. I did not think it tasted good at all and the sauce it came with was very runny and fishy tasting.
Secondly I got the pad Thai with shrimp, now every single pad Thai I’ve ever gotten in my life Has always had crushed peanuts on top this did not have the peanuts which was a disappointment because I really like the peanuts on my pad Thai, also it came with two shrimp when I ordered pad Thai with shrimp I was thinking there would be at least a few pieces mixed into my pad Thai but no there is only two pieces of shrimp on top of a small portion of pad Thai which was poorly seasoned greasy and had no flavor. I would never come here again and I would never recommend this to anybody they want to Thai food.
If you want good Thai food I would recommend going to Thaicoon, I was going to go there instead of here but unfortunately they were closed today so I ended up going here maybe other food here is good I’m not sure but what I ordered definitely was not and just based on those two items I will not come back here to try anything else especially for the price I think is outrageous for the portion and quality...
Read moreNang is the owner of this adorable spot. It was so cozy and lovely, the food is amazing! The staff spoke English too which was super helpful.
The restaurant was clean, organized and smells amazing when you walk in (but not too powerful).
Aesthetically it's a small restaurant with a bar and three tables. I recommend getting there at a good time if you have a big party. Otherwise I loved the decorations!
Lastly the food. The food was amazing!!! And in my opinion you get full pretty quickly. Prices for a decent size entree can range from ¥800-1200. I highly recommend everything...
Read moreThis place is a treasure. In the three weeks I've been here, I've been back 5 or 6 times. The food is amazing, and Nang is very friendly. English is one of her many languages, which helps if you have questions. The place is small, but if you have to wait, it will be worth it. Anything on the menu is fabulous. The Shrimp and Avocado salad is not to be missed. Any of the curries are great. If you go in at lunch, your meal includes a simple salad with a choice of amazing homemade dressings, a soup, and a cold tea that changes daily. Don't miss this place....
