Don't walk past this place next to the bike rental shop. It's easy to miss if you are not paying attention. The menu is curated with fresh local ingredients the atmosphere is modern spacious and relaxed and the prices are incredible value for such good produce. My favourites were mixed tempura and beef dishes the miso soup is wonderful and you can have local beer and local craft sake. Ask for Shiho and try the same tasting flight with tasting notes. The cafe looks dark from the outside. It’s hard to tell if it’s open. I still decided to give it a try.

When entering, the staff seemed inconvenienced by my appearance and was not very friendly, even though there were no other customers at the time. It took about 20 minutes for someone to come take my order.

I was hoping for Japanese tea, but only western green tea was available.

The cafe was quite cold, I struggled to finish my tea, which was generous in size, due to getting cold feet, even with winter wear on.

This place works as both a boat and a bike rental place. The bikes are close to trash! Dangerously keept. Every part you can imagine of a normal bike doesn't work or is poorly kept. Most don't have front lights, breaks or even minimal balance by itself. The service itself is terrible too, non trained staff and not helpful at all. Quite expensive for my taste, 400¥ per hour, double the price I payed on other towns if Japan. There are other better ones in near roads. Look more people! Will...
