Today I visited the Kawaguchiko Cheesecake Garden and it was an absolute delight. The cheesecake itself was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness. The crust was perfectly crumbly and added an extra layer of texture to the dessert. The cafe itself was a beautiful setting for enjoying the cheesecake. The outdoor seating area was surrounded by lush greenery and provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our experience was as enjoyable as possible. In addition to the delicious cheesecake, the cafe also offers a variety of other sweet treats such as mochi and ice cream. The menu is quite diverse, so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Located just at the foot of Mt Kachi Kachi ropeway, it is the best place to go before or after u visited the attraction. This cafe serves a wide variety of cheesecakes and other snacks to go. Good concept that they give free coffee with every purchase of a cheesecake. The cafe is small, I vaguely remember there's only 2 or 3 tables for group of 4-5. There are some outdoor tables too, but I don't think anyone will want to sit there during winter. As for the cheesecake itself, I am not exactly a fan of cheesecakes. But I am pleasantly surprised that I like it, so it definitely win my vote of approval. Try it yourself if you ever visit the place.

Wish I had found the English version of this shop's review before coming, the Japanese reviews had high ratings so we were excited to try their cheesecake. There were 4 of us so we wanted to get two slices of cakes and their ''specialty cheesecake'', but the latter was for take outs only so we ended up getting four slices of assorted cakes and their original sweet cheesecake. To think they had such a huge sign advertising their cheesecake, you would at least expect decent tasting cakes but they were absolutely horrible. Worst case scenario, go for the new york or double cheese cake if you're desperate but DO NOT get the matcha cheesecake (taste like cheap scented agar jelly), or the sour cream cheesecake (it was basically overwhipped whip cream with a slight hint of sour cream). We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but again their speciality cake was a complete disappointment. Do yourself a favour, please do not pay 720 yen for something that taste like a whipped cream that has gone bad. Go to your nearest 7-11 for that cheesecake fix (not sponsored by 7-11 i swear). Tdlr/ Place was a major rip off, turn around and never look back.

Honestly a must go when you’re going to Lake Kawaguchiko! It’s an amazing place to go to right after you’ve explored what many Fuji has to offer. The no 1 kanjuku hard cheesecake is the most creamy, fluffy and most delicate cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life. My partner and I went twice during our trip in mt Fuji! It’s soooooo amazing! Definitely a must try! Staff are very friendly! Every purchase you order and eat in, you have complimentary coffee! their no. 1 cheesecake is like no other! Honestly hands down one of the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!!

Service here is not the best in Kawaguchiko. The staff here seems to be very strict with their rules of the cafe. Perhaps they have come across too many demanding customers, or have become jaded in their work. That being said, the cheesecakes here are gorgeous. You must try their Number 1 cheesecake, and the Raw Peach custard cake. Those were so good... Eat it and become a new human. Take note that sitting spaces are limited and small, so the staff will insist that each person sitting must order their own cake. Sounds reasonable to me.

I tried the no 1 favorite Kanjuku cheesecake as well as the no 2 favorite the Asirii cheesecake. Both were nice and very flavorful. The cake is very soft and melts in the mouth. There are a whole load of other cheeses cheese cakes too, so you are really spoilt for choice if you are a cheesecake lover. The only drawback to why I didn’t rate this 4 stars is the portion. The cake is very very small and costly too. Each slice is between ¥400-500. Perfect with a cup of coffee.
